Are you sure about this information? I usually refer to the community manual. Although, I don't deny that it might have been changed in version 3.1. Is there anywhere to verify this change? DefaultStats or somewhere else?

Fixed the jerky movement animation for the human heroes Frida and Ornela on the adventure map.
P.S. I wanted to do the same for Elaia and Trals, but the jerky movement disappears, but the staff flies away during the movement.
P.S.S. At least the animations for the Orcs Gotai and Kujin are broken.
I would like to know how to link the movement to a specific character for a unique model. Thank you in advance!
I have one manual from the community, but it's full of holes. Maybe mine is a fake; please share yours, I'm even curious now.

Ah... thank you for the response. I have exactly the same one. So, it's flawed and inaccurate. And I strongly doubt that patch 3.1 is to blame, because some of the flaws are too crude and obvious. Recently, I uploaded my mod with improved descriptions of many things in the game, and about 5-10% of the information in the mod simply doesn't match either the official manual or the fan-made one. Another 15-25% of the information in the mod was incomplete, with many important details and conditions missing in both the official and fan-made manuals. And I won't even mention the poor descriptions that only someone with at least several hundred hours of gameplay would understand and who doesn't need this description, but definitely not a beginner. So... this manual is not very good. The people who created it are very, very good, and I respect them, without sarcasm. But at the moment, this manual is hardly practical to use.
P.S. I'm not trying to "advertise" my mod; I reread my messages, and I'm even embarrassed, as if I were some kind of market vendor shouting "my mod" "my mod" :D. It's just that the topic perfectly coincides with my mod - descriptions of various things in the game, and I remember a lot because I recently made the mod. That's why I'm giving it as an example. Otherwise, if it were a different topic, I wouldn't have said a word about it. I honestly don't try to "advertise," don't make me blush :D
Manual 3.0.
is patch 3.1 to blame?
Actually, you shouldn't underestimate the difference between 3.0 and 3.1; they are very different versions. It's clear that based on feedback from 3.0, they refined 3.1 with meticulous detail.

In my opinion, the Russian manual for 3.1 only exists in the lightweight version.
Are there any examples of where I can see the discrepancies? Just for my own understanding. I've already read the 3.0 manual quite a bit over the past 6 years of modding.
Are there any examples where I can look to see the discrepancies? Just for myself, you know. I've pretty much worn out the 3.0 manual with my eyes over 6 years of modding =)
There might be a lot of that there, various clarifications, or maybe something else — I didn't cross-check, just used it.

Fixes the description of the Haven faction's ability: "Skilled Counterattack".
">I saw somewherethat the Light Magic skill "Storm Wind" reduces speed by 2 and initiative by -20% for enemy flying creatures. And there isn't a word about this in either the 3.1 ru manual or the 3.0 ru community manual )
Well, I fixed tricks like that in my mod back in 2020 =)
+ I checked many things from the manual in one form or another in the defaultstats lines and other files.
Over these years, I've had the chance to reverse-engineer and study a lot =)
I personally don't understand your toxic behavior. Someone spent days and hours studying the game's code in order to create something new or fix its flaws. And you just come along and carelessly undo everything. Maybe you don't like my work, and that's your subjective opinion. But I, for my part, no longer have any motivation to post my work here because of commentators like you.
1) Where did you see toxic behavior? If you are not capable of criticism, then it is better not to post anything at all. All the comments I made were completely justified and reasonable.
2) Don't try to play the victim by talking about spending "days and hours" studying. What you did in the latest fix mod can be learned in 15-20 minutes. I'm telling you this as someone who, until recently, had never modded before and figured it out using guides and similar resources from experienced modders here, in those same 15-20 minutes. And there's simply nothing else to spend time on (and I'm talking about your latest post. I'm not denying that days and hours were spent on all the fixes you posted. Overall, it's clear that a lot of work was done studying the game files. You did a good job there. Again, I know from my own experience that it's easy to figure out something simple in 15-20 minutes, but figuring out an entire group of files takes several days. I'm going through that now, but I've already learned a few things).
3) I'm not the only one who has criticized/corrected your work in recent days, from what I've seen. So don't try to blame all your problems on me. I'm old enough for that and won't fall for something so stupid.
4) I'm not your old friend, so don't openly express any grievances about my personality. I only discussed your mods, and I never resorted to personal attacks or said anything about you as a person. So stop acting like a child, insulting other people, twisting the meaning of other people's words, and trying to elicit pity. Act like an adult, or don't write to me at all.
5) And about the fact that I praised your early work for your efforts and ideas, and gave advice on how to make it even better (again, "advice" and "possibly" – it wasn't even criticism. Maybe the advice was stupid, and I was wrong. That's what "advice" is for), I won't even mention it. I thought I could find common ground with you, as I'm also quite inexperienced in creating mods and have only been doing it for a year or so. Apparently, my expectations were too high... but this brings us back to point 4, about twisting other people's words and immature behavior.
P.S. And most importantly, write such messages in PM (private messages). This section is for mini-mods and their discussion, not for settling scores. I will, of course, break my own advice and reply to you here (for which the admin might delete both of our messages and issue a warning
and he would be completely right), but in the future, if you have any complaints, write in PM. Because right now, we look extremely foolish in the eyes of other people, having our inappropriate "squabble" here.
UPD: God, why am I even trying to explain anything after such behavior towards me. I won't delete the message now that I've written it. But I will simply ignore any further communication. I'm not particularly interested. Communication between people should be based on mutual respect and adequate behavior, not on all this that I read. I'm actually surprised that I saw something like this (and unfortunately participated in it) on this forum. Even though I've only been here for 4.5 years (which is very little), there has always been a pleasant atmosphere, no matter what I read or who I talked to – kind and responsive people who helped with advice and even took the initiative to help fix other people's mods if they saw that it was a beginner and they were having a hard time getting started. Maybe I'm starting to act like a child myself, but honestly, my mood has been completely ruined this morning after such an attitude. I didn't expect to see such people here.
Increases the amount of starting resources on the "Hero" difficulty level.
Before: 15 basic resources, 5 rare resources, 10000 gold.
After: 15 basic resources, 8 rare resources, 15000 gold.
Your mod is very niche
, not for hardcore players, but it works well as a fix.
You only made one mistake - you took the file from data.pak, but you should have taken it from a2p1-data.pak; it contains new coefficients for abilities.
If you like tweaking the balance, search for the string in the file; there's a lot of interesting stuff there, but I still haven't been able to get to the balance settings.
