This is a completely real argument that took place today in the game's Discord. It has become truly legendary, and they even made a video about it, which I uploaded to YouTube. All the lines are verbatim. The essence of the argument is clear from the very first line.

It's a three-minute video.

I'll offer a fresh perspective: since angels in Enroth are androids, in Olden Era, their design should have been inspired by Yorha, because any normal person (or Ancient) would rather create an android-2B than some guys with wings a-la Heroes III or even Heroes V.

We know who you would choose, based on the game Granblue Fantasy. That's fine.

I like the idea of angel-androids. Without any religious connotations. They would be the only non-living creatures in the Temple. They find a production lab and set up a conveyor belt for Tier 7 units. It's quite creative: on one side stands a knight, relieving himself inside his armor, on the other side is a religious servant, firing spells from a staff, and in the middle is an angel-android, "resurrecting" with technology.

It lacks a horde of guardsmen shouting "For the Emperor!", who die in 0.0001 nanoseconds in a meat grinder against the Tyranid swarm.

It seems like the angel in Haven is actually an android. However, we're not sure if it's a unit that can be recruited in the city. All of this is just speculation based on the design of the model in the jackal screenshots.

On the city screen, there is a flying building in the clouds, with a circle in the center and wings, resembling the clasps on angel models. I doubt that any other creatures are recruited there.

The time was bound to come when Ubisoft would try once again to create something in the Heroes of Might and Magic universe after the last unsuccessful attempts.

That time has come.

The new project is called: Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era (one of the translation variants of "Olden Era").

Release is scheduled for Q2 2025.

The single-player game will include one campaign featuring the stories of all factions; details will be revealed to us later.
There will be a random map generator, which will be available even in early access. They also promise several pre-made maps and a map editor.
In terms of multiplayer, there will be several modes (classic, single hero, arena), hot-seat, one-click opponent matchmaking, a leaderboard, and player profiles.

The developers promise more information in the future.
