That's exactly the problem; I don't know how to work with code, so I was hoping to find people who could help, like it used to be with Professor Piccolano, who found like-minded individuals. In other words, I can come up with some concepts, maybe even work with texts (I recently worked on correcting the translation of creature names), and I have some experience working with 3D models, but I don't yet know how to work with baking high-poly models, but that's not the point right now.

Are there any scripts that improve the AI? For example, increasing army size, giving them crazy stats, or preventing them from losing their army during encounters and battles with other heroes. That is, if they lose X soldiers in a battle, they immediately replenish them after the victory. Every time you play a map, whether it's a template map or a multiplayer map, the biggest obstacle to progress can be the neutrals, especially when you're trying to build an economy. But when it comes to fighting the AI, they have nothing that can give me a hard time. You easily defeat their pathetic army and then just run around chasing these weaklings, it's just a logistics game, and many games don't even make sense to finish when the AI doesn't pose a threat. And it's like that every time. I've tried many AI mods, but they don't help. Mega AI and Classic AI don't make the game any more difficult. I don't see any difference. With template maps, a wall of swords and evasion completely shut down the AI because they have problems with their behavior. Forcing them off the battlefield isn't always beneficial for them, as it gives me the advantage of grabbing artifacts and resurrecting the entire army if possible, and other nuances.
And EE, or the quantomas mod, makes the AI even worse, especially for the League and Demons, it becomes too easy to defeat them. Yes, they have better logistics and try to kill more than the standard AI, but it's not enough to win; they just prolong the game. And they also lag on many maps, running around near their own territories... I also looked at the AI mods for the Remix, and I'm convinced that mods don't help.
But when it comes to fighting against AI, it has nothing that would allow me to get beaten.
I always play on Hero difficulty and without save/load. With random factions, heroes, and bonuses. I did play through some of the initial scenarios with save/load, but that's not the point.

My modification uses increased difficulty levels precisely for the reasons mentioned above. When you've played for 10+ years since the release, there's nothing left to do in the vanilla game. *However, it's not yet publicly available, so I just mentioned it. (The reason is that it requires critically important changes to be finalized, without which the current version will not work correctly. And I don't see the point in releasing older versions...)
*Another thing that might help is to look for Maps, not Mods. In my opinion, even a good mod can be useless or not fully utilized without Maps designed for it and its balance. And conversely, without certain mods, some map creators' ambitions simply cannot be realized... 🙄
Hello, dear fans of Heroes 5.
We often play long games with friends, level up, and then fight. I know it's strange, but we enjoy it.
I'm interested in a diplomacy mod. I've searched online, but I haven't found anything. I'd like to increase the chance of recruiting units specifically from the castle faction you're playing as. It's really annoying when you focus on diplomacy, and units from evil factions readily join you when you're playing a good faction, and vice versa, while your own units send you away. Perhaps this could be implemented through the Leadership Crown or through the diplomacy perk itself.
Since the games are long, Inferno, Dark Elves, and Magic factions tend to take a backseat. Are there any mods that strengthen these factions in a long game? A good solution in 5.5 is to have the choice of a hero class that gives the hero more attack and damage as they level up. But overall, we didn't like that mod, although it's interesting.
By a long game, I mean level 25+ and a completely cleared map.
Thank you.

Also, in Armageddon's Blade, there's a distinction between "warrior" and "mage," so Dungeon (Dark Elves) has the "Lord" class, while Tower (Academy) has the "Alchemist" class. This results in higher stat drops in the combat branch and makes it easier to acquire defense and other skills. There are also new creatures that can help in battle. For example, in multiplayer, mages really like playing as Razazak because of the gold/diamond golems and the stat boosts he provides.

Good afternoon! I downloaded the free, older version to see what this game is all about. But there's no main menu; I tried the recommendations in the archive, but nothing helped. I also tried adjusting the screen resolution, but that didn't work either. There are no icons, and that's it. A mod for the menu didn't produce any results. I would be grateful if there's a solution.

Go to Discord; there's a screen sharing function. We can take a look at what's happening - https://discord.gg/F6VzjQpnkv

Hello, modders, does anyone know the answer to a tricky question? How can I implement a function from the Universe mod, where, during a battle, holding down a certain key highlights the current number of creatures / the initial number of creatures. I've attached an example.
