Posts from Battle Interface
I focused a bit on convenience. On a wide screen, the interface became cluttered. I detached and redrew the scale, reduced the space under the large icon, and placed the prediction and battle log in the center, along with the three combat buttons, reducing them so that everything fits on a 1024x768 resolution. Maybe some of these ideas will appeal to you if you're still working on it.
1) The indicator of belonging to a player is displayed not as a background behind the creature, but as a lower bar, and the digital sign indicating the number of creatures has also been moved there. At the time, I abandoned the mod that added backgrounds to creatures precisely because it made it unclear which player's turn it was.
2) Large creature portraits; this will allow you to use 128x128 images. Yes, it increases the RAM load during combat, but they are beautiful (the portraits).
I can't say that I like your final version, but some things appeal to me.
I'm currently using this:

P.S. Hmm, the screenshot didn't turn out as I intended.
What I liked:

This is not my solution, but vova2112's.
I'm using something like this right now.
No. Very inconvenient and ugly interface. The scale seems to be a compensator, a monstrous mess. It needs to be even longer, lol. Battle buttons are at the bottom and top of the screen. Everything is scattered in different corners; you can strain your neck and dislocate your wrist if you don't use hotkeys.
This wasn't my decision, it was vova2112's.
No. The interface is very clunky and unattractive. The bar seems to be a compensator, a monstrous intestine. It needs to be even longer, lol. The combat buttons are at the bottom and top of the screen. Everything is scattered in different corners; you could twist your neck and dislocate your wrist if you don't use the hotkeys.
Well, you see, it's a matter of personal preference. I'm not bothered by it at all, and in fact, I'm happy to use "W, C, Space," and I don't need any more buttons on a regular basis.
I like that the buttons on the side take up little screen space.
And I also find the long bar convenient, on my monitor.
Guys, I have a question that's not entirely on topic. I wanted to know if it's possible to somehow integrate the display of unit effects (activated with the right mouse button) as a pop-up window somewhere on the side, so that it always shows the status of buffs. I think this would be a great feature that would be useful in battle. Maybe such a window could be placed near the hero's turn order bar.
I've made some changes and improvements to the battle interface - Combat.h5u_

Version with a mod for saving during battles - Combat_SaveButton.h5u
I added buttons to the battle interface for raising undead Attachment 68261 and blood rage Attachment 68260. Download - Combat_Necro&Rage_Tab.h5u (Attention!!! this mod is installed in addition to the main mod for the battle interface)
Understood, thank you. Last question:

1. Is it possible to make the battle log higher up on the screen and add table buttons in battle mode, but for the classic battle interface? The solution with the log is excellent, but I'm using the classic interface. As for the tables, I only found old versions that display the buttons, even elements for Warlocks (both in and out of battle), but they have very low resolution if you set them below full HD.
I found a couple of minor issues with you (the number is cut off in the large portrait and probably in the video recordings, maybe you can increase the priority of the entire chamomile), but this is a reason to ask: Do you know how to make the number of creatures displayed on the scale as it is on the battle screen (1k, 10k, 100k, etc.)? This will prevent it from overlapping the elements of creatures, blood vials (on the regular interface), and accommodate large numbers. I tried to repeat the trick with StackInfo, but I couldn't do it. Or add a command to Count.txt to display a shortened number, although I don't know if there is one.

Although, if you think about it, 1000 is written as 1k (or am I forgetting something?)
Only if you change (adjust) the font size and style
