I downloaded the full version 3.58 in parts, extracted everything into one folder, and the installer tells me: "Unfortunately, the file main1.wog is corrupted," and it's the same with all of them. :smile05: What should I do?

The path to Heroes 3 on the disk (local drive) should consist only of Latin characters. Please check.

Oops... I don't have Heroes 3, only some old WOG. Is it really possible to install 3.58 under these conditions?

well, you need Heroes 3: The Shadow of Death from буки, and both the patch and the Russian language pack can be installed on it 100%. It's been tested.

It says it doesn't see SoD (it's from Buka, not Platinum and comes with a disc)
And then it writes in turn that various files are corrupted, then I select the path: d\program files\buka\heroes3(renamed it on purpose)
and after installation it says it installed, but when I launch it some images have changed (attack etc.) and an inscription "wog settings" or something like that.
What to do? tell me in detail and give links pliz!

So, I bought The Shadow of Death and tried to install it.
Again, the same problem: all files are corrupted. A window with a progress bar appears, and after two minutes, a message appears saying that the update was successful.
Then, I go back into The Shadow of Death, and when I select it, a "WOG Options" button appears, but it's not clickable.

It installed perfectly for me. I downloaded it from here: http://hmm3.fclan.ru/main.php. Everything installed on the first try (I installed it on WOG 3.52).

you need Heroes 3: The Shadow of Death from Buqa, you can definitely install both the patch and the Russian language pack on it)) I've checked.

I'd like to add that I did the same, but one problem appeared: everything is in Russian, but the game settings are in English. Why is that?

After installing the latest updates (script_update.wog), I encountered the following problem: when purchasing war machines (ballistae, tents, wagons, and catapults), the message "String was not found" appears. I tried to figure it out by trial and error, but I couldn't understand anything. It seems that some scripts are simply missing, or some scripts haven't been updated. VoG is installed on SOD; you can download it from the same forum, in the files section. After installation, launch VoG, not SOD.

I had a similar issue. I put the *.wog files in the Update folder, but the program said the files were corrupted. Then I restarted my computer, and everything installed correctly (*.wog files were not touched).
But over time, a glitch appeared. The commanders lost their initial skills. Does anyone know how to fix this?

After installing the Russian language pack, when I try to access the forge, the text everywhere is displayed as "String not found".
