I don't understand, I thought the video was supposed to load at the end, but nothing happened.

I can always add the script later, it's a shame I won't be able to see the animation.

Damn, either my Heroes game is messed up, or my computer is acting up. There are no text windows, side quests can't be completed, and missions can't be finished. I snapped on the third mission when, after accumulating 10k gold, I couldn't open the merchant's shop. I exited the game, went back in, and the game crashes halfway through loading. I don't know what to do; I couldn't complete the campaign, and I doubt I'll be able to play new ones until I find out the reason. I'll try creating a new Steam account on a new device and buying Heroes again there. It doesn't work properly on the pirated version either.
And this is happening with all the campaigns I've played – everything works fine for everyone else, but it's a mess for me.
Does the game sometimes not work with version 3.0?
3.1 for both versions.
Then it's quite strange. If this isn't a conflict between game versions, then either the recent campaign update is broken, or there's some other magical and unpredictable reason on your end.
I could also suggest that the campaign is too demanding for your hardware... but is that even possible? It only contains a few models from Heroes 5 and not the most complex (in terms of detail) landscapes in the history of mapmaking.
My computer can handle anything, it's a top-of-the-line machine, so it can definitely handle Heroes 5. And consider this: I've already completed four different campaigns. Yours, Andrey's, BlueHaven's, and this one - and in each of them, I encounter some kind of major issue, something breaks, or something else goes wrong. And even on a completely clean version of Heroes 5, I still have some bugs. I'll try reinstalling Windows, maybe that will help.

Yours, Andrey's, BlueHeaven's, and this one – and in each of them, I have some kind of terrible issue, something breaks here, something breaks there. And even on a completely clean version of Heroes 5, I still have some bugs. I'll try reinstalling Windows, maybe that will help.
I had a similar problem even after reinstalling the game. Try cleaning the profile on the C drive, removing saves and other files; sometimes this can cause crashes.
Data on the C drive remains even after deleting the game, and after reinstalling, it is immediately linked to the game.

The truth turned out to be so close! I deleted all saves, deleted all hero versions, ran a cleanup program, reinstalled the game from the Remake, applied patch 3.1 - the game wouldn't launch at all. I went into the bin folder and selected not H5_Game.exe, but H5_Game.NCF.exe, and oh my God, finally everything started working. Dialogue boxes even started appearing, the game runs smoothly, everything loads in a second and a half. And the most interesting thing is that now everything is not as accelerated as it was before. Even at maximum speed, units don't act as quickly as before. Apparently, this was also part of the error.

https://imgur.com/a/Y74oOjp 90% of the icons are, of course, incredibly cool, but whatever, the main thing is that everything works now. After capturing a castle in the first mission, a TEXT BOX appeared!!!
Did you launch the NCF file using its own executable? Oh my!

The icons don't work with low graphics settings. I think it's a bug in the original mod.

I ran it through the .exe, I just clicked https://imgur.com/a/UhA9cSI on the first file, and when I clicked on the second one, it started working.

Yes, high graphics settings saved the icons, but the castle is still glitching, but whatever.
The Naga city has sunk slightly.
I finished the Campaign. Wow, it's really good. I would add this, just like the Sandro Campaign, to the original game as official lore, after the Zehir Campaign, as a patch for the flawed storyline of the Heroes games.
When I was playing Heroes 6, I wondered - where are the Nagas? It seems like they didn't really disappear after the Irina Campaign, so where is the reinforcement for the Alliance of Fools? I understand that they weren't added because of the technical limitations of Heroes 5; there just wasn't enough time and resources. But Ubisoft also didn't find a way to incorporate them into the storyline - it's a pity (perhaps because Ubisoft is a terrible company). But this Campaign fits perfectly and authentically into the lore of the Heroes games. It's a small storyline, like 5 missions, but it tells a very small story, but at the same time it is so rich, with a large number of activities on the map, beautiful models of a whole new race, and the units are not repeated from Heroes 6, but they are made like the other races - with an "adaptation" to the time. New times - new army. And even the heroes are interesting in themselves, they really resemble the Naga heroes from Heroes 6.
10 out of 10, definitely. In terms of storyline, I like the Sandro Campaign more, it has a larger scope in terms of lore, but technically - this one is the clear favorite. It's scary to imagine how much effort was put into it; even the final credits glitched and didn't fit completely into the dialogue window (or maybe it's because of my square monitor). As I understand it, a sequel is not planned yet? In my opinion, it perfectly describes how Fenrig figured out how to find the artifact.
Thank you for your feedback. Nag was supposed to be added with the third expansion to the game, but Ubisoft is Ubisoft, and Nival Interactive refused to work with that company any further.
As for the continuation, things are complicated. I have a certain idea on how to patch up another plot hole between the fifth installment and Dark Messiah, but beyond the map for the first mission, I haven't made much progress. As for the effort and time spent on the campaign, I'll say this: I almost went crazy towards the end of creating the Nag campaign, trying to keep a lot of things in mind so that the campaign would be coherent, rich, and interesting, and it took almost a year and a half to create the campaign itself.
