After politely greeting, he checks if that half-naked journalist is within sight – this is crucial for determining the further strategy...
— Can I help you with anything? — asks a random employee of the publishing house.

"Even better."
-- Hello! In an editorial office with such a poetic name, I must admit, I am interested in whether you have a column with announcements? I have a pressing interest in them.

“Tch, young people don’t even read newspapers anymore,” said one of the older guards. “Sir…” The younger of the two slightly bowed his head in apology. “Yes, that’s right. Unfortunately, we are not authorized to go into details.”

Anyone want to help Astral with a build for a mage? The reward... well, I can create a human hero in your honor on a new map in Heroes 5, who will give the player a hard time.

Any elf (Upper Lunaria, Lower Lunaria) + writer profession + combat training/armor (don't distribute experience until you learn the first spells). Religion - any, but you can, for example, choose "patronage of Rufus" for damage.

Magic is actually quite simple; there isn't much of it anyway.

Only two factions (Lunarians) and one deity (Risha) provide magic skills. Then just put experience points into intelligence and spirit. Maybe leave some points to buy at least some spells from the Magic Guild.

And then enroll in an academy to study.

— Sir... — The young man from the couple bowed his head slightly, apologizing. — Yes, that's right. Unfortunately, we are not authorized to go into details.
— Yeah, that's true, — Raphael said gloomily. — By the way, gentlemen guards, help me read the newspaper. I accidentally picked up an issue in some dialect I don't understand, and I can't read it.

Am I supposed to be writing about myself as the author?

Thanks, but "Ment" is a dubious name for a hero, so I'll call him "Evil Lizard." No offense!
Writer is a profession that gives bonuses; all of this is on the first page.

— So, what's here... — the old man said, interested. — Gloria Mansell, owner of the "Fennel" store, dismembered by an unknown person in the middle of the night, the guard is trying to determine if there is a connection to the murder of Antonius Blake... So, this is today's issue! Get out of here, you joker!

Did you kill her on purpose so that Raphael wouldn't sleep with her? 😔

- What do you mean, joker? It's not my fault that the newspapers sell newspapers that can't be read! What else is known about the murder?

An alternative to being a writer could be the Historian skill. Revan really likes giving mages magical books, and a historian should be able to read them twice as fast. An alternative to Rufus's Persuasion could be Liberation (which also increases damage, but in a slightly different way). In this case, you could consider taking the Priest profession, as the skills of this persuasion seem quite useful for a mage. Another alternative could be Atheism, as companions are useful to everyone. Unless it's Telani or the drunken philosopher from Vesteria.
