1. To participate in the third offline Heroes 5 tournament "Triple Trouble", you need to register on our website and also submit an application in this thread.

P.S. This tournament is held as part of the general Cunningham Memorial Tournament, so all information, as well as the conduct and results, will be displayed in this section.

2. The tournament is held on the Russian version of Heroes 5 from 1C, game version 1.6. The save will be generated on the Russian version 1.6.
Note: Please note that the tournament is held on the original version of Heroes 5, WITHOUT the "Hammers of Fate" and "Tribes of the East" add-ons.

3. The goal of the game is to defeat the enemy.
The result will be evaluated primarily based on the shortest time.
If several players have the same completion time, the best will be determined by the sum of primary skills (attack, defense, magic, knowledge) INCLUDING WORN ARTIFACTS; if a favorite still cannot be determined, then by the amount of mercury.

4. The following are prohibited in the tournament:

1) Using cheats, codes, mods, and additional programs that can change the game structure in the "final" playthrough.

2) Digging up the Tear of Asch without fully opening the puzzle map.

3) Restarting or any other modification of the initial save.

4) Discussion of the tournament on the forum during its conduct is PROHIBITED!!!
(Players who violate this rule will automatically be disqualified, their results will not be counted and will be canceled).

5. The player must save intermediate saves for each game day during the tournament. Also, make replays of EACH battle.
Intermediate saves/replays may be requested by the tournament organizer to verify the fairness of the playthrough. If the use of cheat codes is detected, as well as clearly indicated in the rules errors and features of the game that are prohibited from use, the player will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.

6. Together with the final save, players must send a description of the tactics of the final battle (the more complex the battle, the more complete).
If the win depends on the outcome of morale/luck/certain actions of computer players, a complete description of the battle is required - one that can be repeated. It is also desirable to send a replay of the final battle, especially if it is difficult and cannot be won by auto-battle.

7. Send the final save to the email address g-andrew@mail.ru. The sent save must contain the tournament number (2), the participant number in the application table, the abbreviation (TT - Triple Trouble), and the player's nickname. Example: 3_1_TT_Alan.sav.

8. The tournament starts on November 8 and will last until December 8 (inclusive). The results will be announced on December 11, 2007.

9. After receiving your save, you will see in the application table that:

save accepted - next to the Bold Nickname


Saves will be accepted only from those players who are in this table, so submit your applications in ADVANCE!!!

1. Download the save and the map.

2. The downloaded save must be placed in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\My Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V\Profiles\YYY\Saves, where XXX is your Windows account, and YYY is your profile in the game. It is recommended to create a separate profile for the tournament to avoid confusion.
And place the map in the folder C:\Games\Heroes5\Maps, if you do not have this folder, just create it manually.
The archives were created using WinRar ver 3.72.

3. Load it and start the game at any time that is convenient for you, while remembering to make daily saves and replays of battles.

4. After reaching the last action (after which the victory occurs), you need to save again.

5. With the final save, describe this last step in detail (most likely the battle); then the results will be determined faster, and there will be less suspicion of cheating!!!

6. A complete description of the tournament map is encouraged (not required). If there are any, a competition will be held for the best description, 10 of which (the best) will take their place of honor in the "Feats of Our Best Heroes" section!

7. Send this save to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

8. Wait for the results to be announced.

Is there a ban on all mods? Even interface mods? For example, I have:

1. Doc_Skills_2_1_1_HQ - The skills wheel is integrated into the game.
2. NecroButton - shows how much various creatures cost in dark energy.

Do I need to remove them?
