Horizon of Darkness Auto-translated

Nikta suggests scouting.

Why do they need so many goats?

"Well, how can I put it..." - Zeikin thought in response to Henry's musing.

- Or maybe it would be better to distribute the goats to the peasants later? Why let good things go to waste?

- But what if the scout gets into trouble? Then either he's finished, or we'll have to fight in the dark... But alright, I think you two know what you're talking about and are confident in your abilities. Then let Nyx scout, and we'll wait in ambush for now. We'll postpone dealing with the goats for later.

- What if the scout gets into trouble? Then either he's finished, or we'll have to fight in the dark... But okay, I think you two know what you're talking about and are confident in your abilities. So let Nikta scout, and we'll lie in ambush for now. We'll hold off on the goats for now.

Comfortably settled in the ambush, the Claws sent the cave woman to scout. As she crept closer to the cave, Nikta heard several voices.

- It's your turn to take out the trash! - said a gruff voice.
- No, it's yours! - replied a softer voice.
- Don't lie! I took it out yesterday while you were messing around with that silly wig! - continued the gruff voice.
- Oleg took it out yesterday! It's your turn! - said another gruff voice.
- Okay, okay, I'll take it out! - said the softer voice.
- Why isn't it working? The warlock said a human woman should do it, - said the second, softer voice.

Nikta feels something big moving towards her.

Actually, the Sword is the best scout; it can quietly fly under the ceiling.

Nikta retreats to her companions and recounts what she heard.
Roughly two guys and two girls?

"There's another option, without driving the goats. Just set up an ambush. They have to come out of the cave eventually, to take care of their livestock. Or to kidnap people. Moreover, if they are really behind the disappearance, it makes sense to wait until they go hunting again. Of course, you could argue that we don't have much time and an hour's delay could cost her life, but you're the best judge of that," Kalimor shared his opinion, "And if you're worried about Nikta, I can go with her. (Implying that I won't have to sacrifice my stealth) I'll hang around and help with levitation. Maybe I can even learn something from the giants' heads."

Okay, I'm late with my post.

Nikta retreats to her companions and recounts what she heard.
Approximately two guys and two girls?

Possibly...

When Nikta returns to her companions, her teammates can observe a trollish female emerging from the cave with a vessel.

She empties the contents of the vessel near the cave, muttering something about a stupid, broken human woman, and returns to the cave.

- I suggest we don't attack right now; let him get his complaints out, - Nikta finished her story. - There's probably no point in playing diplomatic games with them, of course, but they're more stupid than evil.

Ah, we should have set up a proper ambush in addition to scouting. He could be sitting on the ceiling right now and jump down.

The comments about the female humanoid really bothered Lin. There was no time to waste, so before the green monster disappears into the darkness of the cave, I order an attack.

Sticky shot or puddle? You could also distract it with a voice, but it's unlikely to give any advantage. I think a shot is better, and then you can decide what to do next. On the second turn, I could have used a sticky mouse in its mouth so it wouldn't scream, but Nebok hasn't implemented that yet.

If everyone agrees, then write what you will attack with.

Theoretically, yes.
