Batman: The Animated Series + The New Batman Adventures: 10/10 for being a pioneer that still looks great today, for its wonderful art deco aesthetic, for the best portrayal of Batman, for the debut of Harley Quinn, for its cool plots and interesting characters, for a whole host of brilliantly realized iconic characters, for the perfect voice acting by Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, and for starting a magnificent animated series.

Superman: The Animated Series: 10/10 for being a worthy continuation and expansion of the DCAU, for introducing space fantasy and space opera into this universe, for a complex and interesting Clark Kent, for great characters, and for crossovers with Batman, among other things.

Justice League + Justice League Unlimited: 10/10 for its amazing, lively, and charismatic characters, mind-blowing plots, intensity and epic scale, the introduction of new faces and the return of beloved old heroes, interesting and complex themes presented simply and clearly, and for being the culmination, peak, and pinnacle of the entire wonderful DCAU.

I haven't watched Static Shock or Batman Beyond, but I have watched two other series that aren't part of the DCAU, which, however, doesn't make them any less wonderful.

Teen Titans: 10/10 for its wonderful balance of humor and seriousness, for its content that is interesting and appealing to all ages, for its wonderful and charming main characters, for the great chemistry between them, for the warm, friendly atmosphere in their team, for its correct ideas and messages for young viewers, for the fact that this series isn't afraid to be silly and isn't afraid to be dark, and for its delightful and inventive visuals with skillfully incorporated elements of anime style.

Young Justice: 10/10 for its mind-blowing plot with tons of twists and turns, for the abundance of content per square centimeter of the screen, for its worthy attempt to cram the entire DC universe into one series, for its well-developed and defined main characters (who, at some point, become frankly too many, and some of them are lost in the background, but the most important relationships, themes, and plots are still clear and distinguishable), for its tense and relevant themes, ideas, and messages, and for the fact that this is probably the most comprehensive DC universe cartoon in a vacuum with its signature Grimness™ and Seriousness™, as well as gallons of blood in the third season, but it's not without good and fun moments.

I also watched several full-length films, mostly about the League, plus a couple of full-length films related to the series. I won't highlight them separately, but overall, the content is good, even if it didn't resonate as much as the series.

Of course, all of the above series, both together and individually, have many flaws, but I honestly don't want to focus on them. I really enjoyed everything, and I haven't seen such high-quality and emotionally resonant content in a long time. For myself, I would probably highlight Teen Titans - at first, I didn't want to watch them, associating them with the reboot, about which I had heard a lot of interesting but not very good things; nevertheless, the original series is amazing. Also, I am usually drawn to and attracted by the main characters in works, and in the Titans, as some guy on YouTube said, each of the five main characters is the best.

Amazing. However, since it is unlikely that anyone will watch this film, I will retell the best moments from it.
This cinematic masterpiece tells about the events in the Luhansk Republic in 2014. After we are shown a text screen telling about the state coup and ethnic oppression, the film instantly takes off and shows us how Ukrainian-speaking Ukrainians slaughter Russian-speaking Ukrainians for cheap watches, or just for fun, and then rape the wives of the killed in front of their infants. At first, I expected that they would now show how the infant is killed and eaten, or eaten alive; fortunately, the cinematography led me to this thought, but apparently, this scene was cut out during editing. Of course, the Ukrainian-speaking Ukrainians are nothing more than real orcs who hate life and each other. One of them tries to secretly hide the stolen watch, for which they want to shoot him, but they don't have time because new victims appear for killing and rape.
After this, they contrast the Russian world (or rather, the Russian-speaking Ukrainians) - endless green meadows filled with green grass and flowers. In the house of ordinary peaceful people, another ordinary peaceful family stops by. A young zoomer is smiled at by a modest but attractive girl. They piously remember the exploits of veterinarians. Then the whole family - grandfather and grandmother, father and mother, and daughter and son - sit down at a table set in the Russian style. The grandfather, who looks no older than 60, remembers the German occupation and tells an interesting fact - even during the occupation, everyone spoke exclusively in Russian, and only police and traitors spoke in Ukrainian. I swear, that's how it was. I thought I would laugh myself to death by this point.
Then, they show us the Ukrainian punishers again - they are mired in hatred for each other. One of them risks speaking in Russian, and they almost kill him on the spot. The collective entertainment here is to beat and urinate on a guy who is wearing a St. George ribbon. Later, the guy will say that this is a symbol of victory that our grandfathers wore. Most of the film consists of scenes of how the punishers bombard civilians with artillery and mortars - exclusively civilians - and they always manage to hit a school, an ambulance, or another gathering of the most helpless and harmless people. When the punishers encounter ordinary militiamen, the latter easily defeat them. Even an old, fat teacher in glasses manages to take a young Ukrainian prisoner who looks like Givi. At first, I wondered - is there any propaganda here? But then I realized that this was a stupid thought, because the punishers always fired no more than one or two shots at civilians, but they always hit their target - truly, such accuracy can only be envied. Anyway, then they show us how the militiamen treat prisoners, and it goes without saying that the difference here is like heaven and earth. The commander of the militia reprimands the captured punishers as if they were schoolchildren, and then lets them go with a request not to fight anymore. Of course, the punishers are enraged by this, they do not understand good treatment; for them, there is only death and destruction. The only good punisher easily switches to the side of the militia, and the commander of the militia easily allows the former enemy to start helping them. It should be noted that I allowed myself significant cuts because the film lasts two hours, and a significant part of it is when the punishers fire from artillery, hit civilians, everyone around cries, repeat. I even thought about dropping the film, but I decided to watch it to the end and I didn't regret it. Suddenly, they started showing how the militiamen prepare a system for shooting down aircraft. I froze in anticipation. Then they showed an aircraft packed from top to bottom with "mercenaries" from European countries. The "mercenaries" did not mince words and, with laughter, discussed how they would now crush the Russians, and a German enthusiastically told how his grandfather had already been here in 1942 and that his grandson would finish what his grandfather had started. I was even moved by how talentedly it was filmed. The militiamen shoot down this plane, and later it turns out that the whole world has declared mourning for it. But that's not all - tanks are driving towards the militiamen, and they do not have adequate weapons. But suddenly, a column with a tank is destroyed by mysterious people. The commander of the militia asks in amazement - who are you, brothers? To which the main one among the mysterious people smiles mysteriously and shows a book "Richard Wagner. Selected Works." After that, these warriors leave along beautiful, infinitely green fields towards the sun, symbolizing everything good, kind, and eternal.

You choose a 3-hour war drama? That's a bit much, but who knows, maybe the movie is worth it. (the movie is not worth it) The Thin Red Line (1998) What a load of crap, God, why? In the same year, "Saving Private Ryan" was filmed and released. They even have almost the same runtime, just a minute difference! But Ryan is a benchmark for war movies and a great film in its own right, while this is just an amateur director's pointless attempt to focus on the VISUALS. A separate rant is needed on why focusing on visuals in film is a cancer, so let's just break down the movie. The movie about war starts by showing us natives with bare butts and penises and how they live. Against this background, a white man contemplates with quotes by Jason Statham. Then (actually, after 40 minutes, that's how fast the plot develops here) we see the war itself - a bunch of Americans run and die like sheep, not even having time to see the enemy, and an old colonel yells at them, telling them not to slow down the offensive. Is this an insult to veterinarians? Okay, you think the movie is about the horrors of war and the incompetence of the command. And then the next scene - and a squad of 6 Rambo-like soldiers easily destroy dozens of Japanese soldiers and take the height. Seriously? So, for the director, soldiers are either sheep at the slaughterhouse or super-soldiers who win the war single-handedly? What the f***. The staging of the battle scenes here is terrible; of the characters, I only remember one - the colonel, and I'm not talking about "remembering after the movie," no, I was watching the movie and constantly couldn't figure out who was who, who had problems with his wife, who lived with the natives, who they even were. Well, in general, it's about 3 hours - constant quotes about life, death, and just nothing, a few "battle scenes" in the middle, and that's it. And of course, the VISUALS, although there is no achievement in filming landscapes - I say this as a person who recently returned from Altai. Don't watch it under any circumstances, spare yourself, and at the same time, give meaning to my suffering.

Sin (2019, Russia - Italy, director: Konchalovsky)
The beginning is confusing and unsettling, the ending is just as confusing and unsettling, but in the process, something quite interesting happens, and it feels somewhat like an arthouse film. I can't say whether the famous artist and sculptor was really as crazy as he is portrayed here; it's quite possible that he has been unfairly slandered... However, the process of his inner turmoil is quite captivating, no matter how you look at it.
Overall, I give it a positive recommendation.

Atmospheric. Heartfelt. Epic. I watched the full-length version, which I think was a bad decision - it's hard to watch 3 hours in one sitting, plus a whole half hour of footage was cut - don't make the same mistake as me and watch it in the format of a series instead. Among the drawbacks, I would highlight the very poorly staged battle scenes, but they are not well staged in many places. But otherwise - the atmosphere, costumes, scale, speech, actors - everything is very pleasant to watch.

I made a mistake when I started watching this series without reading the description. For some reason, I thought it was about witches in the Middle Ages or something similar. But it turned out to be a mishmash with Doctor Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, and other Van Helsings. And there's also a werewolf and vampires controlled by the devil. And, of course, a righteous Christian woman possessed by the devil. In one of the episodes, she even "had sex" with him, lol. In general, sometimes I laughed, and sometimes I almost fell asleep watching this series. It's really cheap horror. I don't know why I even watched the whole season. Maybe I just wanted to spend time as meaninglessly as possible. Perhaps only spending time with girls does it more meaninglessly. Okay, at least I got to look at Eva Green.
