Is it possible to somehow combine your work with the current mod?
Yes, I plan to release it separately. But there, you will also need to create 2k textures for the heroes and horses, and the existing ones will need to be in standard resolution. I can share this archive for now.

I'll wait and see when you make your version of the replacer. Judging by what I've already seen, my patience will definitely be rewarded.

I'll be waiting for news from you!
I'm afraid we might have to wait too long, as I have a lot of work to do right now.)
I wonder if the author will rework the Elves and Undead, because these mods cause crashes!
Manulli
I found a critical bug: characters with certain animated models crash when they are in the Dwarf landscape (see screenshot) and you switch to the character status window.
Attachment 64786 In this case, the animation of Hands is broken for the elves.(ModelInstance)_Idle00-LOD.xdb, other animations don't seem to cause problems. Simply deleting the animation won't solve the problem, as I also discovered a similar situation with Necropolis and Inferno (these factions have characters with animated models).
The nature of the error is still unclear to me. As soon as I find a solution, I will release a bug fix.
If we're talking about this, then Manulli
The bug fix is ready; you can download Sylvan and Necropolis again without worrying about crashes.
If not, then I don't know what bug you have; there is a description in the questions and answers section at the top of the topic on what to do if an error is found

I changed the color of the horses for the Elves; I'll upload some pictures. If you like them, they can be added here as an alternative version.

I also changed Wingael's texture: I fixed excessive darkening and matched his clothes to one tone.
Wingael seems good; I need to see him in the game before I can say for sure based on the screenshot. As for the unicorn recolor, I planned it but later abandoned the idea, considering it unsuccessful. At least it won't work for the main version of the mod, but I am thinking of splitting the mod into two parts, similar to xAcademy - with uniform mounts and multicolored ones
Hello. Good job, and will you share the textures? You can attach a link to Yandex or any file-sharing service. I'll take them, install them, and remember with gratitude.

I started working on texturing Haven, increased the resolution of Dugald's textures because the standard ones were very blurry, and, again, created my own horse and flag bearer and adjusted everything to match the overall color scheme. I would also like to add a quiver from another mod, but I can't figure out the skeletons, so if anyone can give me some advice on this detail, I would be grateful.

Thank you. Specifically, Dugald? Yes, I can. Just the textures themselves, do you know where to put them?
By the way, I just need to finish texturing Miv, Vittorio, and Rutger, and then I'll upload them together with my other additions as a separate mod.
I just installed a similar mod, RPW by Phoenix 2100, before this. It was clear that the creator put a lot of effort into it, but it still didn't quite reach the level of the original, so many things felt out of place. I started editing the textures, and after I had already done a lot, I came across this mod. It was both sad and joyful at the same time. But even my elf heroines can't compare in quality to the ones here. It's also great that the mod only focuses on visuals and doesn't change the balance.
But I want to note that RPW also had some interesting elements; maybe it would be worth transferring them here? For example, the variety of weapons in the hands of the demons. There are already ready-made, high-quality models, and I think it wouldn't require too much effort. Unfortunately, I only know how to work with textures.
I slightly adjusted a few heroes here, the skin tone and other things, to make them closer to the original, as I think they should be. I can upload the files if needed.

And currently, this mod doesn't have demonesses ready. The animations are missing. So, maybe it would be better to take the ready-made demonesses from RPW as a basis and improve their shortcomings? I would also work on them myself if I could (or at least transfer them to this mod as they are). The author (Phoenix 2100) himself wrote that he provides everything for free use. Jazebeth is closer to the original there, and Daleb on horseback looks very interesting (at least someone from the demons won't be walking).
Overall, you guys are creating amazing things! Some of them are really great, while others didn't turn out so well... I think it would be a good idea to separate all the heroes into individual packs and upload them separately. This would allow users to choose what they like and what they don't. I think a separate topic/list should be created for this.
Something like: Skins for heroes. And a list with the hero's name and a link to the skin for that hero. And do that for all of them.
Excellent mod, I am impressed by your meticulousness in the best sense of the word.
Have you already finished creating models for all the heroes, and now you are just making corrections and improvements, or are there still heroes left to create?
