— Ah yes, the man of wondrous gifts. I had the pleasure of seeing him at Deus's birthday. I will spare him a moment... What foreigners? In this thread, we need to double-check the areas adjacent to the borders. We cannot allow any scoundrel to sneak into our lands bypassing the roads marked on the map.
- Two lovely ladies - a bright delight for tired and faded eyes - and a one-eyed warrior, - explained the short man, making it clear that a more precise description was not possible. - We will, of course, attend to the borders.
— My dear, can your magic track the appearance of Revnland hounds nearby? — the question was addressed to Marina. — I do not wish for the Ravager or his ilk to ever loiter even a mile from Olivus.
My dear shakes her head negatively.
— Mobilization should be given top priority. — To Rezare 2. — I'll jot down my proposals for you; I hope for your support in organizing this endeavor. Your military experience is far more multifaceted. As for funds, this sad remark brings us back to the need for forming alliances.
- No problem. I think the most urgent matter is resolving the issue with Swordgard and Florenzan. Our borders with them are our most vulnerable points at the moment.
— So be it, I will visit them after the merchant. In that case, my lord Carvalett, our western and southern borders, as well as diplomacy in my absence, fall to you. A man of your intellect and energy will, in this field, grasp things a thousand times more advantageously than I could ever comprehend. Through joint efforts, we must earn the trust of Florenzan and uncover the motives of the current Swordgard.
— My lord Ober, the safety of our academies and the northern horizon rests on you. Your knowledge of every settlement, quarter, and alley will help expose and anticipate the potential threat of espionage and sabotage. It is important for me to avoid panic and secure the support of all residents of the region, regardless of class. Such things will make no difference to our enemies.
— My lady Marina, your assistance in the center and the north will also be invaluable. Common folk are inclined toward high morale when they can see their rulers' confidence in supporting the common cause. Besides that, I want to ask you to take care of Her Benevolence. By the gods, we sorely lack her inspiring wisdom right now... I will also assign my personal people to her guard.
— My lady Zenia, I entrust you with the formation of defensive squads and the distribution of the resources that our weapons enterprises can produce. I do not know how short the path of neutrality will be, but dragging Olivus into the canvas of an impending slaughter without preparation is an option devoid of all sense.
Glancing around the non-round table, Alsira nods approvingly: — Does anyone have any other additions? I... I believe this hidden thought has visited every valiant knight present here... I too yearn most fervently to punish the agents of chaos. However, without direct evidence and tangible military support, the crimes of our enemies must for now remain unpunished. But karma, if it exists, has long since marked their entire vile kingdom of filth with a black mark. Let us not tarnish the trust of our Magnanimous Lady.
and do the neighbors already know what happened here?
