It's up to me to decide how ethical Rezara is for using Crushing. The fact that we stitch mounts and characters back together with negative HP of 300-500, yet no one can repair armor, is just a game convention and doesn't make Rezara any more cruel than the rest. Plus, you have Deus, the most powerful patron of all. Your chances of getting new gear are higher than others'. Responding with Crushing to a poke that cuts a person in half seems logical to me from an RP perspective.
