Milord Zedil Mox V Milord Candle Lanterna

The first strike in this fight belonged to Candle — the man shot Zedil in the liver, forcing him to retreat for healing.

After treatment and a successful dodge of the shot, the arachnid tried to entangle the Knight of the Swift Arrow in its web, while the Knight of Unbridled Violence struck with a hammer. The web failed to hold Candle — he landed another successful shot. And it seemed only to anger his opponent further.

Zedil struck him in the legs with his hammer with such force that the Knight of the Swift Arrow could not stay on his feet and fell, his boots shattering into splinters. Seizing the moment, the spider began weaving webs again, forcing Candle to waste time trying to break free. Meanwhile, the Knight of Unbridled Violence landed blows while simultaneously restoring his health.

Having dealt with the web, the Knight of the Swift Arrow was also forced to spend time healing. But this seemed reckless — taking advantage of his opponent's sluggishness, the arachnid once again covered him in web, allowing Zedil to attack freely.

Ultimately, this decided the outcome of the battle. Wasting time and energy on freeing himself from the spider's web, Candle took several hits and, in the end, fell. His first defeat against a rider.

Note: the Knight of the Swift Arrow was not destined to remain barefoot; the judge's friend once again spent her power to restore someone else's belonging.
