Well, the old man has arrived. Now I can safely save my primogems - none of the expected characters have really interested me so far. Except maybe a Hu Tao rerun, which I'd pull for to get the first constellation.
The new abyss isn't exactly super hard, but it's just plain nasty - those constantly freezing cyroculus, the purple idiots on 12-3... I hope once I build up the old man, it'll get easier. I even rebuilt Beidou from electro to phys - a very dubious pleasure, let me tell you. Although she crits for 25K per hit in abyss 11 (and still can't clear the monolith on full).
Also, a few days before the patch, I finally lost my mind and made myself a second account. Pulled two Yan Fei there - a pretty pleasant character as a DD. If I don't quit / have enough gems, I think I'll roll for Eula there.
Grandpa is definitely very cool, but I decided that I will focus on getting Eula because she's a girl. Although, I'll wait for the announcement of the next banner; if there are three unwanted characters with her, I'll only pull up to 70.
What do you think of the teapot? Which type did you choose? I checked it out yesterday, and it's pretty cool. But I'm only interested in decorating the outside, not the inside of the house.

Also, a few days before the patch, I completely lost it and made a second account. I got two Yan Feis there – a pretty nice character as a DPS. If I don't get bored / run out of gems, I think I'll pull for Eula there too.
Ugh... well, try to conserve your energy. I played with two accounts at the beginning – it takes up too much time.

Hi! Yeah, I got Rosaria. I wouldn't say I particularly like her aesthetically (although her attack animations are beautiful), but her abilities are really cool. The Hu Tao - Xingqiu - Rosaria - Diona team is a lot of fun to play with.
I wanted to roll for Zhongli during his first banner – there weren't many options back then, and I definitely liked him more than Venti, Tartaglia, or Klee (even though he's a guy, he's one of the most stylish characters in the game). But I heard stories about how weak he was, and I decided to save my gems, even though I had enough for almost a guaranteed pull. And then they buffed him.
How do you like the Serenitea Pot? Which style did you choose?
I chose the first one (the one with the floating islands). Overall, it's pretty cool, but it was more fun at the beginning – when they gave you a lot of stuff, and you could just craft and place it. Now, it's all about getting new recipes. You can, of course, fill your house with screens according to the advice of speedrunners (and I even did that at first), but it gets pretty boring in the end.
I also don't really like that my outdoor island is already full, even though there seems to be some free space left. And I still need to reach the next Trust Rank to unlock a new island.
Ugh... you should take it easy.) I was playing with two accounts at the beginning – it takes up too much time.
Well, I just log in now to do the daily commissions and spend my Resin. They've added a good amount of content, and there's plenty to do in the game now
I got a 5-star item from a standard banner, and it was incredibly early (on the 14th roll).
It's the Falcon Sword.
However, it turns out that I don't need it at all. I checked the characters who use one-handed weapons, and the only character I want to play as is Jin.
Well, maybe someday either Jin will drop, or another good character will appear.

I had a similar thing happen to me before – after 8 pulls after Chichi, I got the Celestial Blade. I still haven't leveled it up. If I ever want to make a physical damage-dealing swordsman, I'll give it to Bennett instead of the Falcon.
I initially really wanted Jean, but now I'm not even sure if I'll level her up if she drops. Although the Celestial Blade might be a good fit for her, as one of the few characters who can use it well (but a corrupted wish might even be better).
But underneath it, unexpectedly for me, was the achievement "reach friendship level 10 with 16 characters."
Yes, I also noticed this, I forgot to write it. In principle, I have 7 characters that I will eventually bring to friendship level 10, but who will be the eighth – I don't know. Maybe level up Diluc (physical Chichi).
I've come to the conclusion that, out of all the gacha games I've played, the character progression and gear acquisition in Genshin Impact are the most tedious... I just can't bring myself to fully gear up the entire team (not least because in a couple of levels, I'll have to repeat the whole process again, haha).
I just can't bring myself to fully equip the entire team (not least because in a couple of levels, I'll have to repeat the whole process again, haha).
I understand that you're talking about the fact that right now, you have purple artifacts, and in a couple of levels, you'll have gold ones.
Artifacts transfer to each other with an experience coefficient of 80%.
And it's not at all necessary to get the absolutely best artifacts every time. Level up some purple ones with stats above average to level 16, then transfer them to mediocre gold ones, and in the future, when good gold ones drop, transfer the mediocre ones to the good ones.

Yes, I had a similar feeling in the mid-game. I agree with Meg - before level 45, when legendary items start dropping consistently, you don't need to worry too much about upgrading artifacts. Especially for supports/secondary damage dealers - you can even wait to upgrade their artifacts to level 16 if you don't feel a significant disadvantage in battles.
But in the late game, a different problem arises. Are these timepieces with 13% crit damage in their substats still good at my stage, or are they just okay? Should I discard them, or give them to another hero? Who should get this hat - Xiangke or Rosaria? If Rosaria gets it, what will Xiangke wear? Should I equip the hero with random pieces with super-crits, or a full set, but with more mediocre stats? Should I save this hat for attack? These timepieces for HP? The goblet for defense for Albedo (since there isn't a geo goblet for him yet)?
I see some people on streams who have their entire artifact inventory fitting on one screen, and they hardly have any un-upgraded pieces. I can't do that yet - I have dozens of artifacts saved. I recently went through them and cleaned them up a bit.
Added 18 minutes later By the way, here's my new soundtrack for Genshin Impact. There was good music even before the remaster, and now you can listen to it constantly.
(Warning: the video may make you want to level up a physical damage-focused Chichi)
Wish, yes, these questions constantly arise. And you have to think about almost everything.

Should you equip your hero with random items with super-critical stats or with a full set, but with more mediocre stats?
On this issue, the gurus say that sets are secondary for the main damage dealer. A set of artifacts without any set bonuses, but with excellent secondary stats, is better than any set.

Are these watches with 13% critical damage in the substats still good at my stage, or are they already so-so?
At your stage, you need 13% critical chance, not critical damage.

Oh, I have the same problem. I don't properly filter the level 5 items, which ones to keep, which ones to upgrade, and they just pile up.

Revan, I looked at your characters.
The thing is, artifacts really take up the most time, but they are upgraded last.
First, upgrade all the weapons to level 80, and the talents. This will give you a lot of benefit with less effort.
And then upgrade the artifacts.

Phew, I'm safe. I didn't get the urge.

Yes, it's good. It's a shame that it's just fan art. Although, we can hope that miHoYo will pay attention to the community's wishes and, after making similar skins for Jean and Barbara, will do the same for her.
