Loken already told me in chat. I'm sure you're right, but I'm also not sure I'll ever find the time in my life to play everything I want to. So, my first thought was to do an express playthrough, like "The Legend," but it didn't work out in this case, but oh well...

Granblue Fantasy Season 2
Aliza arc: 5/10
Could have been more interesting; where are Stan and Jessica? They participated in the event where Aliza was first introduced...
Vira arc: 4/10, 4 episodes
Vira and everything related to her is debatable, to say the least, but the actions of all the characters here just cause constant facepalms. I mean Gran, Lyria, Vira, and Catalina – are they having a competition to see who has the dumbest motivation?
Ferry arc: 8/10, 3 episodes
The plot is simple, but it was just pleasant to watch.
Noah arc: 6/10, 4 episodes
Well, it's okay, what can I say.

I was glad that the animation style changed for the better.
The main character was chosen incorrectly, -1 point to the average score.

Granblue Fantasy The Animation Season 2: Djeeta-hen
A unique quest with a new character, a fairly standard dungeon with puzzles, but I enjoyed many of the details, such as the relative non-linearity of what's happening, the sudden charisma and verbosity of Djeeta (a little naive, if these were dialogues in the game, I would more often choose sarcastic options, but still, it's good), beautifully made character movements, and the combat.
And the main character was chosen correctly, well done.
Of course, 20 minutes is not enough to make something truly great. If the whole season was like this... I wanted to give it a 9 out of 10, but I won't be that subjective; it's not that great.

My Hero Academia Season 4 (Boku no hero academia TV-4)
The first arc is very powerful and intense, although, of course, it's drawn out... As is usually the case in this series, I suppose.
The second arc is even more drawn out. After reading the manga, I was sure that they would devote very little time to the festival, because there are practically no events there, and they would manage to show the subsequent training and all sorts of interesting things... But alas.
And it still leaves a good impression. It's just that these 25 episodes should have been condensed into 20, or even 15-18, and it would have been simply great, but what we have is what we have.

Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! (Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na!, 2020)
Oh yes, this crazy opening! Oh yes, references to Miyazaki's series! These strange ideas, these beautiful landscapes, and the analysis of animation, as well as the improvement of the creation through small, but significant crises in those conditions. Maybe it seems a little too mundane, but isn't there some idea in that too? Whatever, I just liked it, it inspired me, what more do I need?

One of the things shonen anime taught me is that to be a successful young man with a big heart, an ocean of talent, plenty of luck, a mountain of friends, and a promising future, you need to have a cool dad who will pass on his superior genes and raise you properly. Well, if your dad isn't cool, the best you can hope for is to be a third-rate character in such a protagonist's life, someone like a classmate who can be replaced or even removed altogether, and essentially nothing will change.

I don't really love sports, but it was easy to watch, because Japanese people can use almost any theme and still create an interesting product. And I guess I actually prefer baseball compared to other team sports. I think I'll watch the rest of the seasons too; there are... 5+ more, each with 25-26 episodes.

Oh yeah, one important note:

I approve of the difference in height.

Whisper of the Heart

A lesser-known Miyazaki film. There's very little action and all that, but I've already started watching a lot of similar things... But it resonates well with my soul, practically in every aspect – from the standard, yet no less breathtaking, beauty typical of the studio, to the story itself, and all this dreaming, searching, and the music they chose is just... amazing. But due to the reason mentioned above, it's not recommended for everyone.
I watched it in English (Revan, don't look at me like that), and I can officially say that it's simply magnificent; it was very engaging to listen to all these dialogues.

Weathering with You
An interesting, everyday fantasy. The main character is, of course, a typical weakling, and he overacts. However, towards the end...
This is a good love story, unlike the previous one – it's more action-oriented, although there were moments of calm. I didn't experience particularly strong emotions, but it was light, pleasant, and sometimes a bit melancholic, with references to Pretty Cure (this is neither a minus nor a plus, just unexpected). It's similar to Summer Wars.

I watched it in the English version (Revan, don't look at me like that).

Not bad, otherwise I wouldn't have left a positive review... But it's clear that this somewhat (or greatly, I don't know) limits the target audience, which is generally not characteristic of Miyazaki's works.

Totoro is arguably one of Miyazaki's most famous works, but I don't remember a lot of action in it. And in general, his films are more of an adventure genre (and not all of them), which, although not without action, has it in a rather moderate amount. The essence is usually in something else.

There's more action in Totoro than in Whisper. Mostly achieved through magic, of course, but still. The point is something else entirely – and you're absolutely right.
