Where can I find the textures created by these guys? As far as I know, Psatkha was the first to discover them. I can find the geometry in the game, but I don't know where the textures are located.
Generally, these are interesting characters. As I understand it, these are models that weren't included in the expansion pack, right? And could you tell me where I can find them in the game? By the way, if they have a decent texture map, you could take the textures from this image; they're at the bottom of this image, as you can see. The quality isn't great, but if there are no other options, you could improve them.

The screenshot is taken from the Might and Magic Wiki, and it doesn't even include all the characters that are in the game. You can find the models by unpacking all the models from the data.pak archive and opening them one by one in Archangel until you find the ones you need. I went through all the models like that about a year ago, and I found naked knights on horses, a lizard with a bow (like in Heroes 7), and some kind of demon with brass knuckles. You need to spend some time to find them by trial and error.
Added 3 minutes later The textures, however, were taken from somewhere, meaning someone must have found them. You can, of course, unpack all the files from data.pak and find all the dds files, open each of them, and find the ones you need, but it's better to ask first, in case someone knows where to get them. It's strange that no one has used these characters before.
A while? That would take a lot of time to unlock each model one by one. There are hundreds of them. Just because there are textures in the screenshot doesn't mean they exist in the game. These could be screenshots from some demo or just promotional material. Plus, adding the model to the game won't be that simple, as it needs to be re-linked. But if someone sends me this samurai with a working model, I'll add it to the game. I'll re-link it to some skeleton and tweak the textures from this screenshot.

I sent them to you before! If you lost them, I'll send them again!

Where can I find the textures for these creatures? I think Psatkha was the first to discover them. I can find the geometry in the game, but I don't know where the textures are located.
There are no textures in the archives; I created the UV maps in Max... when I hadn't seen these images yet. By the way, you can stretch them and add to them!

Yes, of course, send them. That was a long time ago, and I've lost those files now. If the UV mapping on them is good and matches the textures from the screenshots, then we can figure something out. If not, then redoing the UV mapping is too much work for this task and it's not worth it.
As I understand it, there are no textures? Okay, I'll have to use the ones that are in the picture.
I stretched these (I'll look for them over the weekend)... by the way, I need to check with a couple of guys from heroescommunity to see if they found the originals or not... :smile26:
Today I had a free morning, and I went through the game's geometry... Here's what I got:
Yeah, there wasn't a horse texture in the screenshot... by the way, will you be able to color it using a grid?!
What do you mean by "using a grid"? I'm not working with models yet – first, I'll plan all the creatures and abilities, assigning them numbers, then I'll create placeholders in the game without models, test how it works, and only then will I create models for the creatures and buildings. Using a conveyor belt method.

This isn't just a colored texture – it's a black background with a white outline of the body, divided into many triangles!
Attached are the Naga creature in NCF format + three meshes: a demon with gauntlets (as you called it), and a lizardman archer (the main body and its accessories)!
