Also, it's important to check the "Remember me" box when you log in to the forum; otherwise (as happened to me once), you will be logged out after 5 minutes. It could also be a problem with your security settings if cookies from this site are not being saved.

I have Firefox 67.0.2 (32-bit) portable and a new Firefox Quantum 67.0.2 (64-bit). The problem exists in both browsers. I have enabled cookies, but it didn't help. In the portable version, the only enabled extension is an ad blocker. The new Firefox is still clean, with no extensions installed.

My main browser is Firefox, and I sometimes launch a portable version of Slimjet (based on Chromium), usually when I need to visit a website that requires translating the entire interface (including websites with maps in Polish, German, or Chinese). I unchecked the boxes, and all avatars and signatures disappeared (probably these aren't the right settings because I can't set my own avatar (see posts above), and the signature is already displayed in my profile (which is good), but it doesn't appear under my messages (which seems to be its purpose)). There's an option to contact you via Discord (I can enable screen sharing). Maybe I'm just being silly.

This is especially useful with Bukovsky's "Complete Collection," as this plugin replaces the fonts and translation with more successful ones. It also fixes all the overflowing text and makes it possible to display magic points in battle (which is very frustrating when it is not visible, especially for the enemy on difficult battle maps).
