I took a look at Spider-Man. The mentor is, of course, a hater of the 16-year-old Spider-Man, but that's his personal opinion. Considering Peter's age, school, and everything else, it's all as it should be, especially as one of the parts of the MCU. And it would probably be boring to watch a copy of the two previous Spider-Men, who are more similar to each other anyway. In general, there were no surprises for me with Peter. Mysterio turned out better than I expected. Or rather, I thought it would be worse, but no, I liked it, maybe even in some moments it's better than in the cartoon, especially since I'm tired of all these goblins and other creatures. And of course, this movie is better than the first one. But it's better not to go to the cinema in the morning, it's a complete mess.
In terms of intelligence and skill, Tom is similar to Andrew (although, according to the canon, that's how it should be). In terms of character, I would say that Tom and Toby are similar. Well, not exactly, but both have a slight touch of immaturity. I can't understand how Andrew and Toby are similar at all...
I watched the trailer for "Dilda." Our cinema hasn't forgotten how to make that kind of trashy movie in the style of Soviet 70s, like the "Green Elephant." Some kind of depressing setting, like a shelter or a mental hospital, I didn't quite understand. Old-school thugs are harassing a little boy. I didn't get that either. Then there were naked women, toilets, psychedelic faces, and other things. And I was still planning to watch it. What an idiot I am. Age rating 50+.

Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) I promised Artzu that I would tell him about it, but I kept putting it off, and now I'm finally doing it. This is the best Spider-Man movie, if not the best superhero movie in a long time. It feels like the previous film, with all its pandering to Iron Man and the overall Avengers era, was just a setup to better showcase how much more serious and interesting things have become now compared to what they were before. Spider-Man, who just wants to be a friendly neighborhood hero, finds himself at the center of social problems and feels the full force of pressure from the aging and helpless masses who can't function without their "Iron Men." It's brilliantly done. I also found myself watching the school life scenes with interest, mostly because there are many funny moments. Mary Jane, although she looks quite unconventional, is becoming more and more likable because of her personality. She's almost the best Mary Jane I've seen, only surpassed by the one in Ultimate Spider-Man (the animated series). However, Flash, on the other hand, is becoming more and more annoying. Turning a charismatic (though not very smart) athlete into some kind of sleazy, rich, petty guy... Well, that's a 10/10 idea. I also want to talk about the film's villain. He is A M A Z I N G A M A Z I N G I think he's the best Marvel villain in this series so far. It's impossible not to reward him with a truly high score. 9.5/10
This isn't Mary Jane, by the way. Her name is different; it's just that the nickname is the same. But yes, she's great. Maybe they'll introduce the real one later. Mysterio is also awesome, and the fight scene is great too.
Chernobyl (Chernobyl, 2019, USA-UK -- HBO) I rarely watch non-animated series, but this one was great.
+ Many details, including the real names of the people involved, even the firefighters, not to mention the leaders. + Legasov + The heroism of the diverse professions involved in the cleanup is well portrayed. + And also – the atmosphere of the Soviet Union and its absurd secrecy. + And yet, I can't accuse it of having too much historical inaccuracy. - Still, sometimes inaccuracies do slip in (the speech of one elderly official in the first film, he overdid it with his propaganda). - In some places, there is excessive drama (people standing with their mouths open, looking at the reactor's internals, seriously?). - The image of the scientists from the cleanup team was generalized into one woman... No, I understand that the budget is not unlimited, but they could have taken at least a couple of real people and mentioned the others in passing, that they are working behind the scenes.
Overall, the drawbacks are not so significant compared to the advantages. A very good series, probably 9/10 (but I don't have a large comparative database of series).
- Still, sometimes there are moments that feel a bit off (the performance of one elderly official in the first film, he overdid it with his propaganda) - In some places, there's excessive drama (people standing with their mouths open, staring at the reactor's insides, come on, seriously)
Surely, there wasn't neither of those things at the enterprise where you worked in the eighties?
Watched "The Lion King." I haven't seen the original, Arandor wrote something about it, so I decided to check it out. Well, here are my impressions. First of all, 6+ is too low a rating for this film, even though it's a cartoon, it's not entirely for children. There's too much political context, too much "vasyanskaya" philosophy. Besides, some scenes are definitely not suitable for preschoolers. Although, I actually liked it, and the kid (6+) sitting next to me was completely tense. I even tried to draw mental parallels between the main characters and other, let's say, public figures. It turned out to be interesting. The film is already quite old, and the remake came out several decades later. However, I was impressed by the graphics; in some places, it's almost better than what Blizzard does. So, here's my verdict. You can go see it yourself, but I wouldn't take children there. **7 out of 10**.
