Posts from Application for the CIS region.
First of all, I apologize for writing in English. I rarely write in Russian – it takes too much time. I hope you can understand.
Secondly, I apologize for not being very active lately. As Merlin already said, organizing such an event is not an ordinary thing for me, and perhaps that's why I couldn't provide complete and detailed information regarding your arrival and accommodation.
I want to say that my goal is definitely not to make money from this event. I wanted to offer you a place to gather and probably spend a couple of days, drinking with you.
Perhaps the reason you are not satisfied with my offer is the lack of more detailed information, so please – provide feedback on any point that interests you.
Regarding accommodation:
1. The hotel opened at the end of 2018, so it is still clean and generally OK (with the caveat that it is outside the budget).
2. I just spoke with the hotel management, and their offer is as follows:
" 35 USD per person per day, including three meals (buffet). I cannot guarantee that this will be the most delicious food you can find in Georgia, but it will be of sufficient quality. In any case, we can organize a banquet or anything else outside the hotel for an additional fee)
" The conference hall will be available to us throughout your stay at the hotel
(as I saw, the chairs are not very comfortable, but I think we can arrange something and bring a couple of tables and chairs and organize the conference hall as we like)
" Wi-Fi will be regular, somewhere with 50 MB - 100 MB speed
" Drinking alcohol is allowed, as long as nothing is broken. Otherwise, you will have to pay for the damaged item Smoking is prohibited in Georgia in all enclosed spaces.
" Additional information: smoking marijuana is allowed, so this can be easily arranged without any problems.
" I have my own winery (or vineyards, I'm not sure of the exact translation) in Kakheti, so I can bring my own good family wine and a lot of chacha as a gift for the event!
" The hotel has a swimming pool / sauna / shooting facility / gym / table tennis table for an additional fee
3. A taxi from the airport to the hotel / city center costs 25-30 USD. If several people are traveling together, it's very cheap. If there is advance information about a group of 5-6 people arriving at the same time, I can arrange a minivan and airport pickup for about 10 USD per person.
4. The Taxify and Yandex taxi apps are available in the city, and taxis are quite cheap. Approximately USD 3-5 one way within the city.
If I forgot something, please let me know. I also ask you to make a final decision as soon as possible so that the hotel is not booked.
As for my time, I will not be able to be with you 24/7, but I will do everything I can to help you with anything within my power.
I think the best option would be if a couple of people arrived 2 days before the event, and I would be happy to help them resolve all organizational issues on the spot, with the conference hall, etc.
I can also ask a couple of my friends to be there when I am not, and besides, I want to say that communication in Russian and English will not be a problem anywhere in Tbilisi.
I look forward to your comments
Additional information : Its legal to smoke weed, so if anyone would like it, we can organize that one without problem.
I need a translation from Herolwy.

I like everything, I'm ready. We just need to determine the exact arrival and departure dates, plus we need a schedule: when we play, when we drink, and when we "engage in cultural activities":)
There's a good chance I'll come.
Hey guys,
I have my own vineyards in Kakheti, so I can bring my own good family wine and plenty of chacha as a free gift for the event!
perhaps this item will compensate for the budget overruns :smile54:

What incredible luck! How could we have gotten so lucky? Where did this wonderful person come from?! This is one of those cases where they say that even on your street, a truck full of money (marijuana, chacha – choose as needed) will overturn.
PS This is also a case where they say: "Quiet, everything will be alright." We all know what happens next. ;)
Well, in general, Georgians are mostly kind and hospitable people. They are unique, but not fake, like the Turks, for example. And I tend to believe him. It's just that every freebie has its limits, and if he has a quality product, why not buy it. It's logical that he's counting on that, and there are no hidden motives here, it's just business.
High-quality chacha is a fantastic drink!)

They say you have some kind of internal conflict. Think twice about whether you need it. I remember the attitude towards Russians in Batumi. Or do you have your own cunning plan?icq: 407907277

Whoever comes as a guest will be treated as a guest. Whoever comes as an occupier will be treated accordingly.
I think this is fair, and I hope you agree!
Regarding expectations and reality: I want to tell you in advance that the hotel will be around 3 stars. I personally wouldn't have recommended this option, but as Merlin and Yar explained to me, the budget is more important in our case than a better location/food/comfort/other activities.
I'll try to visit the hotel today or tomorrow and meet with the manager. I'll find out in detail about the food and how much additional activities cost.
I'd like you to decide as soon as possible what we're going to do and write down the dates.
A response from the organizer has been received. We can now return to discussing the event itself.
Alright, we've had our fun, and personally, I'd like to go to Tbilisi. I'm ready to buy tickets now; I need the exact dates and a day-by-day schedule.

P.S. I suggest creating a poll in the thread to clarify and visualize things, showing who can participate, who is considering it, etc., and possible dates...
