With the new rules, it's not a shame to try your luck in Group A. The good old Arcus, with Cerberus as a full-set item, and from the new cards, only Kolyan and that spell for 2 power points that summons a ghost. I lost to Ramp-Dragon, but I beat Rune, Sword, Portal, and Mirror. In Rune, flying helped me break through, and it was Kolyan's spell that did the trick – I had a proc from Arcus, and in principle, I could have managed without it, but I decided that the spell was more ironic, since he already had Anya's spell in his hand.

Is this deck not a meme anymore?

Pot, meet kettle. I did want the prophetess to be viable, but not to the point where more than half of the opponents are runes, both in ladder and in grand prix. One guy even made a bodiless witch work: he kept two evolution points, so that on turn 9-10, through two witches, he could throw these guys at me, which are in Koshy's post at the end of the list.

Well, the Witch has been working with these guys almost since the beginning of the meta. As for the Oracle, I'd like to try her out; I have two of them. But it's a bit expensive.
I also want to get Grotz, but as always, there's a shortage of dust. I'm still thinking about whether to craft an orichalcum golem (it works!!11) or a carbuncle (since I'm playing Fortress, and it's a cute little creature).

Since I got an animated swordsman from the legendary pack, I added it to my deck – because I can. Today, for the first time in five hundred games, I managed to fully buff it. I just wanted to show off and reduce its health, then finish it off with Radiant, but it turned out that I had just accumulated 20+ artifacts. (keeping you updated)



Of course, I think that 20+ is too much; they should have made it at least 15, and the card would be much more viable.

I also made it to Tier A with what is considered the most "balanced" deck in this expansion (hello, Anya and Gree). It's ironic that even though Sigil Games gave us a couple of Mysterian cards at their usual pace, they turned out to be not that useful (Tiko is just not very good, and the teacher is only needed in a mirror match when you go second). But the one who really fit well into the deck is the infamous Truth Fanatic. He deals exactly the kind of damage that is sometimes lacking when playing without Founders and Dragons (which are too clumsy in the end), to overwhelm the opponent by turn 10, when it's needed.

And how does the Prince fit in here? Is it worth crafting him for this deck? (I still don't have enough cards for the Dragon, and he doesn't really play anywhere else).

Or the Carbuncle (because Forest Main, and he's a cute little furball).

I recently saw a combo Vanar-Forest deck with him somewhere, with 21 legendary cards. Has there ever been more than that? The Jackal-Dragon and Neutral-Forest decks are resting.

I've seen decks with 40 creatures. I even put one together myself just for fun, although I didn't actually play with it. But, in theory, such a deck could be quite playable. For example, Sylvan could have a decent mana curve, with 1-mana, 2-mana, acceleration, and other things, even with some kind of synergy.

How does the Prince fit into this deck? Is it worth crafting him for this deck?

I specifically crafted two of him for this deck. In theory, he should work as an alternative win condition, but I've only played him a few times for 9 mana, and I didn't like losing my entire deck with a bunch of Radiants and other creatures mixed in, and I even lost twice because of it. But I was also less experienced back then. However, using Acceleration to add four cards to your deck when you don't have much else to play, or post-Deus, when you have a lot of power points, are very good additional options. I've won several times with their help, although often I just ignore the cards and refresh my hand in search of Radiants. It's not always ideal, but overall, the cards in it help, and there are also two draw cards for Resonance.

It was surprisingly easy. An old, reliable tempo-Sylvan deck with Gilnelize. I didn't expect it to work so well; I took it more for fun and for the daily quest. Instead of the missing third Lisa, I put in Yggdrasil, and it even worked once. The opponents were two ramp dragons, a mid-range Sword, a Seraphim Haven, and a Rune deck – I didn't even understand which one. The player probably had a terrible draw and conceded on turn 4. Yes, ramp is theoretically supposed to counter my army of one-health fairies with its omen, but in practice, by the time the dragon can use it, it has already lost most of its health. And, probably, if I had faced DFB, Tenko, or any portal deck, they would have shown me why playing purely with board presence without brambles and immunity effects is not a good strategy.
Also, the reward is quite nice. Did they buff it, or did I just forget when I last got 5 wins?
