I only managed to complete it today, on the last day... Thanks to Erika.

I haven't finished it yet, lol. And besides, I'm in group B. I didn't really focus on the grand prix this time, and I don't have much experience in unlimited mode. Don't repeat my mistakes; don't take Dasha in this mode. Even in unlimited mode.
Also, I got a third unbodied witch. An animated one. I can only quote myself:

"Oh, I'm a sodomite, a fool, that cockroach let me down, sniff-sniff, I don't feel like playing, I'll take the first available aggro deck and quickly lose five matches before the day ends, at least I'll get a free pack and some gold."

And I played with Darya for the entire Grand Prix... All matches were 4-1, only a couple of times it was 3-2. A decent choice, actually, I would say. With the aggro sword, the results were the same; I didn't run other decks because I didn't want to optimize, I hadn't touched it in ages, there were always some cards missing, and I don't even remember what I dusted. But these decks were ready-made and just lying there.

I made it to the final of Group A on the first day; today, I didn't even use a free run, and I didn't even log into the Showdown, I didn't have time... Overall, I got the impression that it's easier to play in Unlimited than in Rotation, but maybe it just seemed that way because I was using very interactive decks.

I tried playing with Dashka, but it didn't work out; she clearly doesn't like me. But the cockroach deck qualified me. However, it let me down in Tier A; I only managed 2/5 with it. And the aggro blood deck, which I used in the qualifying round, carried me to the finals.
And yes, as I said, unlimited is a good mode; I often play it. The rotation is more for relaxing and thinking. But in unlimited, there's excitement and fun; you might get unlucky playing a control blood deck, or you might rush for a mid-game sword with the cockroach deck, or you might be second in an aggro mirror match; it keeps things interesting.

I thought Darya would be more consistent in the anime-themed deck than in the regular rotation, but in the end, I drew three Daryas in my hand by turn 5, and then none by turn 10.
In the end, I still made it to the final stage with a mid-range sword deck. And that was with only 3 wins.

I actually regret getting into B. In A, it was fine; you could just play casually and enjoy yourself. But here... If you make it to the finals, great, but if you don't, you're just a loser and a noob.

In the first 4 games, I didn't get a single Themis... How am I supposed to win?

Ghostcraft incoming! Not bad. Also, for once, husband-tier.

So-so. Not amazing, but decent.

And yes, as I said, Unlimited is a good mode, I often play it. Rotation is more about relaxing and thinking. But in Unlimited, there's excitement and fun; you either get wrecked playing a control deck, or you rush for a mid-game sword playing an aggro deck, or you go second in an aggro mirror match – it keeps you on your toes.

The only difference I noticed compared to Rotation is the existence of Roach, Shift, Daria, and Atomi; everything else is the same. This simple experience is exactly what I expected from this mode, and it completely negates all those arrogant posts on Reddit from Unlimited enthusiasts about the "unique dynamic meta," mocking Rotation in the Grand Prix, and so on. All the "dynamics and speed" are directly related to whether you're playing against these decks and whether they can vomit out their stats/win conditions by turn six. Thus, the developers did a good job; the Unlimited mode is exactly what it was intended to be – a dumping ground for individual imbalanced "design-limiting" cards that they were too lazy or ashamed to balance in 2018. And other cards simply became obsolete and were forced to suffer the consequences, paying for the fatal mistakes of the developers. Collateral damage.
In short, it all comes down to whether you're willing to play second, third, or tenth year against Roach. And there's no talk of youth or vigor here at all.

I was really hoping Azazelka would play the role of a vengeance trigger, but alas. However, it's not very effective, and in the late game, a 5/4 rush + vengeance will be much stronger. But still, I think it's not enough to save the faction.



Wow. They're pushing Lindworm as a win condition, I need to craft it. There aren't that many hard removals in the rotation, and they've added a permanent effect to the fanfare of the gold card, so I think it's quite solid.

Also, they're giving away goodies. A global for free! I'm thinking about animating the gold Azazelka or hoping for a reprint.
