Ideally, the dates should fall within the range of 29-6, as this is only two working days and six weekend days, totaling eight days. We could consider the option of 2-6, but would there be enough time?
2-6 are very difficult dates; we won't be able to manage it, but in the case of Kaliningrad, I support Zhenya's desire. If there are no other options, I'm willing to do it from the 5th to the 12th. A 50% prepayment doesn't scare me (personally). Overall, I looked at the website, and everything is fine. If there are any other proposals, please present them! P.S. Zhenya, thank you for your efforts.
Kirill, I offer my condolences... Zhenya, please provide complete information by Thursday about what and how – in my opinion, it’s very good – not Moscow, but it will do – also, considering the location – we have a plane that flies to Kaliningrad – manage it and provide accurate information, and as for the prepayment – I don’t know – it’s complicated – I agree with Anton, we need help – otherwise, everything is reasonable.
Kirill, my condolences... hang in there...
1) I like option #tamkantamogila.
2) For those who work 5/2 (I know that Heroes players generally don't like working, they love freelancing and everything related to it), the dates of 28-5(6) are the most optimal. I think it's also more suitable for families.
3) There's no need to start by comparing 2018 with the previous CIS event – "it was like this, it cost that much." We need to start with a clean slate. The previous event was chosen under the motto "anywhere but there." People overpaid for that. As a local, I paid 20250 for 6 days (it was actually 7) – 6 days of accommodation, a standard room for two, a banquet for 2500, and a hall, plus free breakfast. Everyone can calculate how much it cost there. And you also need to factor in drinks for the banquet and something to drink during the days, buy souvenirs, and have something to eat, maybe cook something, or have a sauna. What's more interesting is that for two uses of the cauldron, I had to pay 800 + 800 rubles – they didn't give it for free, despite my requests and threats. Cards are a personal matter; there's no need to calculate that. As a result, for two people (I'm not including the child's expenses, as they are insignificant compared to the main price), the total cost for Волгоград was incredibly high, and that's for only 6 days of accommodation. And it's not just for Волгоград.
4) A year ago, transportation to the base cost 500-800 rubles by taxi and took half an hour – how was it this time?
5) The conference hall should cost 5-10K and be available almost around the clock – the logic is that why would they need an empty hall if there are no people there. I'm sure this base isn't the only one.
6) Regarding Moscow, I also looked at two options, and I liked them. The prices are comparable to the proposed one, but I haven't been there, and I didn't have any negotiations because, according to Murphy's Law, just a week before the visit, people booked places for May, thereby ruining both options (both were for 50-60 people max).
7) There are still other options; I've already arranged to view one of them. There are places available, but there was a mismatch in the meeting time – I can't meet during the week, and the administrator couldn't meet on the weekend (and I don't have the opportunity to just go and "look around") – however, it should eventually work out. If people are interested in a Moscow option, then we need another 10-12 days for that – and then we can compare the offers. If not, let's go with Калинин.
8) As a child, I loved the cartoon about Leopold the Cat.
6) Regarding Moscow, I also looked at 2 options – I liked them, and the price is comparable to the one suggested, but I haven't been there, and I didn't have any negotiations, because, according to Murphy's Law, right about a week before the visit, people booked the places for May, thus ruining both options (both were for a maximum of 50-60 people). 7) There are still other options; I've already arranged to view one, and there are places available, but there was a mismatch in meeting times – I can't meet during the week, and the administrator couldn't meet on the weekend (and I don't have the opportunity to just go and "look around") – however, it should eventually work out.
What options have been ruled out – please list the names. And with whom are you currently in negotiations? So that if anyone else is looking, they don't waste time on options that have already been considered.

While "Dubrovsky" has definitely been weeded out)). In Moscow, there are several thousand offers on this market – it's a real hive – I don't want to...). That particular option will only be revealed after the visit... P.S. I laughed out loud – I remembered how, after last year's request from Korolev, someone almost immediately contacted the administration of the establishment we had chosen and tried to book rooms for the same dates – for a "PROGRAMMERS' GATHERING"... it would be funny if it didn't look so pathetic... (programmers don't like any kind of gatherings, it's too intimate a field – but that's how much wit and imagination they had, as they say))).
For now, "Dubrovsky" has definitely been weeded out. In Moscow, there are several thousand offers on this market – it's overwhelming... The best option will be announced only after a visit...
We'll wait for the Moscow and other options; I, in turn, will evaluate a larger database and try to look at something else.
I don't understand this point. Who will be making the prepayment? If it's planned to collect from everyone who might want to go, I'm afraid this option is doomed.

Albert, which two options in Moscow have already been ruled out due to bookings for May?
Maybe Korolev is booked for a Clash of Heroes tournament? :D

Not two, but many more – check the websites, you’ll see information about the remaining places and the time they were booked, it’s clearly highlighted. You won’t make a mistake!

What two options, which you looked at but didn't visit, were eliminated due to Murphy's Law??? Why am I asking you the same thing three times, and instead of an answer, I get some nonsensical stuff instead of two names?
