In general, I am bothered by phrases like:
For them, it was just a form of entertainment, like "I'm a moderator, and I have some power."
On the contrary, they took on some of the burden of responsibility to prevent the situation from deteriorating due to excessive chatter. And this kind of attitude towards them leads to arguments.
Recently, I've noticed that most of the excessive chatter arises from arguments. Someone wants to appear smarter, or simply doesn't want to admit they are wrong... There are many reasons for conflicts. The most frustrating thing is that no one wants to give in... This is very upsetting.
The most interesting thing is that everyone says:
Suppressing uninformative and repetitive posts; only then will someone have to ban themselves.
They immediately start complaining: HOW??? THIS ISN'T CHATTER!!!! THE ADMINISTRATION IS DELETING THINGS FOR NO REASON...
And so on... No moderator will remain indifferent because such aggressive messages cannot go unnoticed. And as long as the topic isn't completely overrun by such arguments, it's unlikely to be deleted.
In general, if the administration, in the form of moderators/coordinators, is wrong, write a private message, and we will try to resolve the conflict...
Returning to the quote... Are you referring to someone in particular...? I think you have grounds for such conclusions...
An ordinary user has absolutely no way to "demand accountability" from a representative of the administration for their actions; they do what they do, and that's it. And this, if you think about it, is a violation of point 1 of the portal's rules.
As I wrote above, if you really believe that your topic/message was deleted unfairly, write a private message or an ICQ message; everyone has it. But don't write something like: "WHY WAS MY TOPIC DELETED???"
Show some respect... Otherwise, you'll make me want to ban the user.
Saving the Heroes theme is good, but it can be done more simply so that it doesn't have to be saved...
If you don't want excessive chatter, don't post there... And don't argue... Instead, enjoy the universe and share your impressions. Don't try to prove who is right and who is wrong....

and for the solution itself.
