Thanks to
Marmot, I finished This is Legion! I used the blinding method in the game “007 Cases of Doctor No” (I wrote the name incorrectly before). The final stage – Dermitt against Doctor No. I beat it in 3 attempts.
Yesterday, I decided to continue playing the unfinished Lord of the Rings and Jedy’s Story. I play them alternately. I'm not doing very well with Gandalf yet, but I won't give up. I can't beat King Arthur with Jedi; he's tough.
I saved them for later and started The Lord of War. I downloaded the map from the forum and read the comments from users who had completed it. Interestingly, I already had the map for The Lord of War, but with a different castle layout. In the new Leondagran, it starts in the upper left corner, while in my version, his castles were located in the lower right corner, and immediately behind the garrison in the north were the lands of the first opponent. I tried to complete that map a couple of times, but as soon as I gathered my strength and broke through the garrison, the opponent's player would appear with a huge army and immediately defeat Leon.
I started the new version, but this time I got lucky with the map itself. After capturing the Dragon Utopia to the south of Norok, I got the wizard's hat. As the game progressed, I gathered a mana well, and then I just jumped and flew forward. In one of the red castles, I learned the city portal (after that, I captured the book of earth magic and the shackles of war, defeating the legion of nagas from the Pandora's Box on the island near the Blue lands). The game took 17 months. The strongest opponents were the elven queen with skills close to 99, the purple Diablo, and the orange Lady Norganna, also with 99 and legions of archangels, griffins, champions, etc.
I dealt with the red and pink ones first. The pink one surprised me – the 2 strongest heroes were standing motionless outside their territory. I defeated one, and I didn't bother with the second – he died after losing his last castle. After dealing with them, I flew to the blue one. I captured all the castles except the last one, where Astral was hiding. He attacked and was defeated. Next, I defeated the purple and cyan (the weakest) and fought the elven queen. I defeated her and captured all the Ramparts. By that time, I had taken all the orange castles, and Norganna was hiding in the last one. After gathering enough troops and waiting for the right moment, when she came out of the castle, I captured the castle and activated the angelic alliance. Norganna attacked and lost. Victory!
Added 1 hour 26 minutes agoI'll also share my walkthrough of the map "Dreamland".
Link:
http://heroesportal.net/maps/search/dreamlandIt's strange that the map was uploaded to the portal in April 2017, but I already had it in my collection a couple of years ago, and that's when I played it.
The map is quite interesting, with a turn-based strategy of "find the tent - open the passage to the enemy - find another tent" and so on. The goal is to kill the hero Lord Dragon; failure means losing Solmyr.
There is a city portal, but flight and spatial gates are missing. However, there are 2 pairs of angel wings on the map, and one cannot be captured, while the other... But I'll tell you everything in order.
We have several towers, initially 2, then we take 4, and through a two-way portal, 2 more. The enemies are locked behind gates, and there are also guards who allow the Blue player to pass, i.e., us.
After gaining some strength, I led Solmyr to do some reconnaissance. To the right of us are the lands of Gray (Stronghold), below and to the left is purple (Necropolis). Below in the center and on the island are the lands of Red (Castle). In the south are underground gates to the lands of Green (Rampart). There are several Dragon Utopia, and the Grail, buried on a deserted island next to Gray. However, the approach to the Grail is guarded by dragons, and at every turn, we are ambushed by invisible dragons.
After visiting the brown tent, I opened access to the Necropolis. I captured the castles on the way, but one of them is behind purple gates. There are also gates to the dungeon, where the purple tent is, guarded by red guards. The purple player lost all his heroes, and the last Necropolis didn't have a tavern.
As I progressed through the map, I captured the island with the Rampart, where the Grail was located. There are more than enough resources and gold. On the island with swamp creatures, I found a green tent (and the author cleverly hid it). One of the tents gave me a funny situation, because of which I spent many months (!!!) trying in vain to get out of the dead end.
After saving the game, I opened the gates to the south and went to the lands of Green. The hero Gelu turned out to be very strong, and I barely defeated him and took control of the castles. To the left, I noticed a two-way portal that led to the red tent. Nearby are 4 groups of 2,000 azure dragons. They don't interfere with the progress, but who knows what they might be guarding. I decided to find out... I killed them one by one, but nothing! I returned to the starting point. In the lands of green, behind the black gates, lie the angel wings and the sphere of vulnerability. At the top are Gray (the passage to him is blocked by a blue guard) and Red (a white guard). Also, in the lands of Red, there is a second pair of wings, but the author placed them in such a way that it is impossible to take them.
Now for the sad part. The author also hid the white tent, and so well that I searched everything that was open, but I couldn't find it. In the search, the game dragged on to 24 months..., Solmyr became very strong and leveled up so much that only Chuck Norris is stronger. When we were installing the game, something went wrong, and the map editor doesn't work, and I don't have the ability to look in the editor to see where this tent is.
I saved the game and forgot about it for a while.
I returned a couple of months later with the determination to either find the tent or write to the author to explain. I didn't have to do the second, because I found the tent in the dungeon of the purple player (!) behind the smoke (!!), where I accidentally clicked with the mouse (!!!).
Completely enraged by my own blindness, I rushed to the unfortunate Red, defeated all his heroes in one go, visited the blue tent, and went forward to Gray. To Gray's credit, he didn't hide but attacked himself, although he had no chance. After opening the gates, I visited the black tent, defeating the legion of fairy dragons guarding it. In principle, Solmyr was no longer afraid of the devil himself. I remembered the wings in the lands of the Rampart, opened them, took the sphere and the wings, but the wings turned out to be a surprise – with a defense of 7000 archangels.
Now, to Lord Dragon (the path lies through the portal on the island, closed by black gates). After flying through them, I ended up in the lands of Pink. While I was looking for the damn white tent, I also leveled up the second hero – Dragon. With skills close to 80, with legions of joined angels and other neutrals, he was not much inferior to the main hero. We came to the final stage – seeing us, Lord Dragon hid in the castle. This didn't save him; I made a swap in the armies and defeated him with Dragon, just to test him.
Some details have faded from memory; if anyone is interested, I can upload the save.
