What are you drinking right now? Auto-translated

In the heat, I go wild.

Oh, right, I had already forgotten that I used to cool down at home with a milkshake. It's a pity, I couldn't find either a milkshake or a place to cool down here :(

Yesterday we went fishing. We started with this:

The internet suggests that this is vodka costing approximately 250 rubles. And for its price, it's excellent. It goes down well, and you don't need much more from vodka. 8/10
Then came this:

It went down, but I wouldn't say it "went down well." You can drink it, but nothing more – it's a bit harsh. At the same time, it costs more than "Finnish Ice," although not by much. It might be suitable for drinking alongside fish soup, but compared to the previous one, it's not very good. 7/10
By the way, my long-held belief in "natural vodka" has been confirmed. Finnish Ice is softened with honey, while Khortytsia uses some kind of chemical additive. The results are clear.

We went fishing yesterday.

We started with this.

And I'm starting with setting up my fishing rod and choosing a lure...

I start by setting up my fishing rod and choosing a lure...

Are you not Russian?

It's awkward to cast the spinning rod with shaky, drunken hands. You keep hitting your neighbor.

For some reason, I thought that fishing rods and spinning rods had gone out of fashion 10-15 years ago, giving way to nets.

Fishing with a net and with a fishing rod/spinning rod are two completely different things. A police officer will confirm that.

only official fishermen from enterprises and prostitutes catch fish using nets.

It turns out everyone is such a... good fisherman. And how do you all manage to find the time?

I used to go fishing as a child. Now, of course, I don't.

lemonade is lemonade, only with bergamot :)
and it's relatively not sweet, which is definitely a plus

I usually start by setting up my fishing rod and choosing a lure...

Well, that's exactly what we did. We sat there for a couple of hours, caught one small fish to share among the four of us, then we shared a bottle, and after that, the fish started biting even better; we caught seven fish in those same couple of hours.

A police officer will confirm it.

I haven't fished using nets, but Ar is right in general. Only locals (and not all of them) or industrial fishermen set nets and traps for fish. Going fishing just to set a net is a bit strange.

Going fishing for fish is the same as going hunting for game. At the very least, it's strange.

the same as going hunting for game.

Are you talking about those people who go hunting, kill an animal, and then don't throw the carcass in the trash/don't send it to be processed for fur, but instead, do what's appropriate, and eat it? I don't see anything strange about that. The fish you catch is not like the herring in the nearest store; it's a completely different taste experience. I suspect the same is true for game. The satisfaction of the hunter's instinct is also important, I agree, but when you consume what you've caught, that's when you get the maximum enjoyment. You need to go through the whole process.
