Friends, I hasten to welcome you to the new qualifying tournament for the final part of the main tournament on HeroesWorld.ru!!! So:
FB-3. Qualifying Cycle
I GENERAL
Tournament Lead SpiriTT (474558204)
Tournament Judge Pit for LM (471401475)
A certain number of rounds (depending on the number of participants) will be played, each lasting 2 weeks.
Depending on the number of participants, the following issues will be resolved before the start of the tournament:
- regulations (round-robin, swiss, olympic, group stage...),
- rules for awarding technical results,
- exact same dates of the tournament.
Organizers reserve the right to make any changes to the regulations and rules during the tournament.
II Regulations
1. Tournament start (approximate) - February 10, end - Depending on the number of participants. Upon completion, results will be summarized and at least 2 contenders (taking 1st and 2nd place respectively) moving to the final will be announced. The fate of 3rd place will be determined by a meeting of other tournament organizers (it will stay this way for now).
2. The tournament is conducted according to the Rules for organization, conduct and participation in tournaments
(the system of conduct will be determined depending on the number of participants). Drawing for rounds, dates and colors will be in the next post.
Time limit for one game - 2 weeks.
3. For each played match, participants must submit a report and confirmation. Saves of all matches must be kept until the end of the tournament and presented upon first request by the tournament leads or any member of AK.
4. 1 point is awarded for a win, 0.5 for a draw (a draw will only be counted if reports from both participants are present), 0 for a loss. The person who scores the most points will be our Winner. In case of equal points, the Winner will be determined by the Berger coefficient. For correct calculation of the Berger coeff., the following rule will be used: if a participant played less than 50% of matches, they are disqualified and the results of their played matches are annulled.
5. Information on the progress of the tournament will be updated once a week.
6. All tournament games go into the seasonal rating. Information will be provided to the seasonal rating lead on the 1st-2nd of the month following the past one.
7. Games must be arranged in this thread. If you encounter difficulties arranging a game, notify the lead immediately rather than waiting until the last week of the tournament. We will try to find an acceptable option.
/* arrange (dogovorit'sya) - to reach an agreement after negotiations, discussion (from) S.I. Ozhegov "Dictionary of the Russian Language". The leads will interpret this term exactly in this way. A proposal without a response will not be considered as arranged./
To avoid another occurrence of own disputed situations regarding arrangements, rules, game times, awarding technical results, etc., we ask each participant to pay special attention to the meaning of the word "arrange" as stated above.
8. Players with ChMCh are not allowed to participate in the tournament. If any player is issued a ChMCh during the tournament, they will be disqualified and their results annulled. The issue of participation for players on the Black List is decided by Organizers on an individual basis.
Also, players participating in Final Battle 2 (FB2) - 10 people - are not allowed to participate in the tournament.
9. If for any reason you cannot play for some time (more than one week) during the tournament period, notify the lead.
10. Organizers reserve the right to refuse participation in the tournament to a user without explanation of reasons.
III Rules and Templates
1. The tournament has qualifying status, which means rules and templates are selected based on the same principles as in the final part of the tournament.
2. Game version SoD 3.2 (4.0) or by mutual agreement TE 1.03q or TE Lite, turn time 6 min, may be changed by mutual agreement.
3. First, players choose a template.
Template selection is done by crossing out from a list of 5 templates: 2SM4d(3), Jebus Cross, Mini-Nostalgia, Panic, 8mm6а. The blue player starts crossing out.
/Example:
Pit :
1. panic
Dirty_Player :
2. 8mm6а
Pit :
3. balance
Dirty_Player :
4. 2SM4d(3)
We play on Mini-Nostalgia then./
After this, players choose a castle by crossing out. As usual, the blue player starts crossing out.
Rules for 2SM4d(3) fully coincide with the rules of the seasonal tournament
Differences for Panic:
Map settings - L without Dungeon, two players, difficulty 130% (rook).
Description of Panic - /topic/at/328119/
Differences for Jebus cross:
Recommended size XL-U.
- Restart at the request of a player whose only road leads to ГО. Requested on the day this fact is discovered.
- Restart at the request of a player who lacks a road to the central treasure zone. Requested on the day this fact is discovered.
- Restart due to slow roads. Requested if at least one opponent wishes immediately after map generation.
- Using "Angel Wings" and spells "Fly" and "Dimension Door" when moving from one zone to another is allowed only if the guard between them has been broken.
- In case of bugged passages between zones, passing to a neighboring zone is possible only if ГО to center is broken from both zones.
Description of Jebus cross - /topic/at/331392/
Differences for Mini-Nostalgia:
- Computer selection is done by players alternately, one at a time. The blue player starts the selection. There should be no repeats or matches with players' castles. Before starting the game, the host sets the selected castles for the computers.
Reason - to avoid double-builds.
- It is allowed to run through neighboring respawns past shifted guards (except ГО).
Reason - computers ignore shifted guards, therefore players can too to avoid any unfair situations. Furthermore, breaking a passage to a computer is much easier than taking its castle, so there is no point in this restriction.
Description of Mini-Nostalgia- /topic/at/291820/
Differences for 8mm6а:
- Map settings XL+U, 2 humans + 6 computers, difficulty 160%.
- Restart due to slow roads. Requested if at least one opponent wishes immediately after map generation.
- Allowed to pass from respawn to respawn without breaking shifted guards.
- If a computer's castle has an upgrade of level 1, 6, 7 in Conflux or level 4 in Necropolis, it is forbidden to upgrade your own troops of these levels and hire the upgraded version of creatures. If the same as Necromancer Amplifier is built, upgrading vampires is forbidden, but additional skeletons do not need to be dismissed.
- Restart at the request of a player whose only road leads to treasure zone guard. Requested on the day this fact is discovered, but no later than 114.
- Restart due to a strong block that cannot be bypassed, at the request of the player who owns this block. Whether a block is sufficiently strong is determined by mutual agreement of players or judges. Requested on the day this fact is discovered, but no later than 113.
- Restart at the request of a player whose road does not lead out of the castle (castle in an open field, extremely rare case). Requested immediately after map generation.

P.S. It would not be superfluous to mention that the tournament is conducted using a swiss system in 7 rounds. Dividers are determined by the following indicators (in order of importance):
1. Number of points
2. Buchholz coefficient
3. Head-to-head match
4. Judge's discretion
