If this weapon is dropped "blade" down, will it reach the center of the Earth or not? The principle of how a lightsaber works is based on science fiction. No particular attention was paid to the scientific basis of the weapon, so it should simply be accepted as is.
O God of Earth and Altar,
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die,
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
Take away our pride.

If you're talking about a lightsaber, then no :)
Because the hilt isn't a laser :)

But in general, here:

Because the handle isn't made of laser.
So what? :) You can drop it blade-down so that the blade slowly makes a hole in the ground, which the handle will then follow through. And so on, until the center of our planet, until the handle, and therefore the entire sword, is destroyed by the high temperatures :)

You need to study the device with a dictionary. I'm just too lazy right now.

Well, that's a debatable point :)
There's also another nuance: whenever a sword falls to the ground (in movies, games), it automatically deactivates.

With two double-bladed lightsabers, the most you'll achieve is suicide.
Or maybe I'm WisTrit Do'Urden from the Skywalkers...
I think it's still possible to wield two of them together.

I think it might still be possible to own two of these at the same time.
How do you imagine that would work? :)

No, trust me, it's very inconvenient. Play Jedi Academy and run around with ONE dual-bladed lightsaber, and you'll see that for effective (not to be confused with flashy) strikes, both hands are almost always used.
Where do we go?
Where do we end up when we save the world?

By the way, in Jedi Academy Escape Yavin, there are some creeps running around with two double-bladed lightsabers: [br][/br](Although Escape Yavin is quite a twisted game... As far as I remember, there were even four-bladed lightsabers there).

OMG.
I want two of those!!!
I'll call myself WisTrit-mill, the last of the Skywalkers, coming from the lands near the outskirts of Rivira, bringing darkness and chaos, lord of light and nature, possessor of the ring, herbalist. That's it.

Escape Yavin is a fan-made mod, so don't take it too seriously.

That's why I don't like all these newfangled things and use a good energy hammer to knock some sense into the heretics. The main thing is to hold it only by the handle.
..and recently I finished off a psychopathic homunculus. Now I want to master its three-bladed scissorhand. They say that with it, you can turn an opponent into a bloody mess in seconds.

..by the way, the only one who managed to master four blades was a robot.

WhiteLizard, it seems you've developed the same habit that I used to have :)
x)

Also, I'm curious when the forum will start working stably.
