Which level 5 monster is the best? Auto-translated

Dendroids for defending the castle, and Gorgons for any situation!)))

Armored golems are much stronger when it comes to defending the castle. %) Wood – for the fireplace. %)

Wood is good) otherwise, there won't be any elves))

It’s a pity that I created this thread (and similar ones) not in the WOG forum; we could have discussed WOG monsters here.

It’s a pity, but it’s too late to change anything now. Whether or not it’s possible depends on whether such a topic was created there...

I still have some questions:
1) How do I change hero specializations?
2) It seems I don't have a script editor!

I don't think this is relevant to the topic xD
1) not applicable
2) download it

Mighty Gorgons. Simply superb fighters. They have a bit less health, but this is compensated by high defense. And how effectively they crush monsters of levels 6 and 7? When fighting them, you should be wary and protect your units of levels 6 and 7, otherwise they will fall like "breadcrumbs."
I also want to mention the Thunderbird. If it manages to strike with lightning, it will be quite painful. But it's not quite what I'm looking for.
I'll also mention Dendroids - they reproduce better for their level, and they are also very strong and resilient, but... they are incredibly slow. They would be excellent warriors if their speed could be increased. As it is, they are not quite right.
Still, my vote goes to the Mighty Gorgons.

Minotaurs, definitely. The others aren't that great.

Damacon, what's so interesting about it? Gorgons are definitely better. And Thunderbirds are better too.

I don't know about the Thunderbirds, but when I face powerful Gorgons (especially in large numbers), I move my level 7+ units as far away as possible. It would be a shame if the Gorgons dealt, say, 200 damage to Azure Dragons and killed two of them instantly.

Exactly! Gargoyles are awesome. I don't know how anyone can consider Minotaurs to be better after that.

Maybe he's not just evaluating them based on strength?... For example, visually, they are much better) IMHO... And in terms of strength, they are second, and their morale also helps....

It's a shame, though, that he didn't explain his choice.

In the early stages of the game, the most useful and effective units are the Rock Golems (although you might not have enough resources to upgrade them). Minotaurs join the battle a little later, or at the same time as the Rock Golems, but they are supported by the Eyeballs, so Minotaurs are very important as reinforcements.
In general, Gorgons are undoubtedly the strongest Tier 5 unit, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are the best.
There are no replacements for Birds and Minotaurs in terms of their roles, and in terms of power, Gorgons are ahead of the rest.

Minotaurs, definitely. The others aren't that great.

Heroes is a game where very little is straightforward!
