Which level 5 monster is the best?

I don't know about the Thunderbirds, but when I face powerful Gorgons (especially in large numbers), I move my level 7+ units as far away as possible. It would be a shame if the Gorgons dealt, say, 200 damage to Azure Dragons and killed two of them instantly.
