Dreams. Auto-translated

Ah, that was the best dream of my life.

Let me guess, in that dream, you weren't fat?

Guessed it.

It's a shame that it doesn't work like that.

I managed to finish a disrupted adventure-themed dream once, but it was like this: I woke up, was upset that it was interrupted in the middle, immediately fell asleep again, and then saw the continuation.
After a day, it probably wouldn't have worked, of course, but right now it did.

And that’s how it usually works.

Aretz travels to the future, and I travel to the past (probably that's why I remember it). So, I ended up in the Soviet Union, during the pre-war era (big thanks). I went looking for my house and accidentally met my grandfather, only younger and in military uniform. I don't know how I recognized him right away, but I approached him and started talking, telling him my cool story. He cheerfully patted me on the shoulder and led me to the car. By the way, the car was exactly the same as in my real childhood, only a different color. So, while chatting, we got into the car, drove out of the city, and headed down a bad dirt road between the trees (dark, tall spruces, I remember them well). The sun was also shining very brightly, but it was probably the flashing router in real life that was shining in my eyes. In general, we drove up to some military unit, where we stopped. My grandfather got out of the car, and other people in uniform came out to meet him. They shook hands and started talking cheerfully, occasionally nodding at me. After a while, a sort of van drove up the same road, and about 5-7 cheerful and happy people jumped out of the back. I was assigned to these guys, after which the soldiers led us to some concrete wall, unexpectedly pointed their rifles, and shot us all... But I guess I was subconsciously so upset about the betrayal that the dream unexpectedly continued. It turned out that my grandfather had actually put some kind of metal plates under my shirt, like armor, while we were driving to the unit, which saved me from the bullets. Then, while I was unconscious, he threw the keys to his car into a pit where we and the van guys were "relaxing." I crawled out of the mass grave at night, somehow found my grandfather's car in the same place, and drove... somewhere. There were some mountains, where I almost fell into an abyss, but in the end, I got to an old hotel. I was about to go in when I saw soldiers smoking in the window (with their backs to me), and I recognized them as the soldiers from the unit. After that, I ran into the forest, ran and ran and ran, got tired, and woke up.

sounds like a hint for a new expansion.

I went to the clinic, which was located in a school building, and while waiting for the doctor, a classmate invited me to be a guest co-host on their cringeworthy radio show. Their "office" was set up behind one of the desks in an active classroom, where other students were sitting at the same time. But shortly after the show started, she was called away to do other things, and I was left as the only entertainer for the entire duration. I was rummaging through a pile of crumpled, tiny scraps of paper from notebooks, on which numbers were written, representing the numbers of topics/questions from listeners in some other list that I didn't even have. I was inwardly cringing at the ridiculous organization of the process, and eventually, I gave up on it and just skipped that segment. At first, I tried to shout over the noise of the students at the neighboring desks, forcing myself to interact with them and just talking to fill the time while waiting for the real host to return, but she didn't come back. There was also a moment when I had cough drops in my mouth, which were clacking against my teeth, and I couldn't spit them out, and it wasn't an option to crush them right in front of the microphone. Eventually, she returned with a group of teachers and other people, and they started lining up to take a picture while I was trying to squeeze out the last bit of content from the show. At the end, she made a couple of comments like, "You were silent here while you were looking for something, but you should have been talking non-stop," but I didn't take her criticism to heart because I felt that, overall, given the circumstances, I had done a pretty good job and that I would never be in such a situation again. And I never got to see the doctor that day.

I once hosted an intercity event at the university, and I can confidently say that this is how the process looks from the host's perspective.

I'm driving through the city with someone else in the car, looking for a car wash. But I can't seem to make it happen and clean my car from the ages of dirt: traffic is very difficult, everything is dug up, some kind of repairs, traffic lights...
I see a zombie girl in sportswear running alongside us. It's clear that we've been participating in a race all this time. Now there's no time for car washes and other pit stops; it's better to win with a dirty car than to lose with a clean one... But you can't just outrun a zombie, she's running tirelessly – and "my friend" and I are stuck at every traffic light for a long time. But never mind, we'll fight.
I tell "my friend" that we need to cut through a residential building, otherwise we won't make it, but he should know the route. Floor the pedal, accelerate, we crash into the huge wooden gates, which, as everyone knows, are on the ground floor of any Soviet high-rise building – we rush through the corridors, drifting, and burst out on the other side.
The last turn. We've just caught up with the zombie girl, and on the straight stretch, we should be able to overtake her, she's better at turns... Or not? You think you understand that logic is on your side, but something still feels off, what kind of trap will appear?!
The atmosphere is building, some drums are beating a rhythm, and the zombie, confidently striding in time with the rhythm, with a smirk, approaches the turn, which we are also approaching.
Acceleration and – oh my god, we're first! No joke, we took the lead and won gold, against all expectations!! Oh, that intoxicating, sweet feeling of victory. I had a dream about it not long after the end of the last Mafia game, so I felt something similar. I wish I had such dreams more often.

I had a dream about Student Day. Perhaps it was the most realistic dream I've ever had. More realistic than reality itself. Although, how would I know what reality is like? In any case, I'd rather have dreamed about a realistic expansion pack.

Okay. I dreamt that we were playing an expansion. I was like the GM, but I was playing along with you as some character. Our party ended up in either a mine or a cave, where there was something like scaffolding. We fought orcs there. When one of us killed the main orc, the other enemies stopped fighting and said that we were cool guys. The game ended there. The second dream was a spy action movie. I was at some concert where politicians or someone else were performing. I accidentally discovered some "unsafe device," but before I could report it, panic broke out. My school friend was next to me, also apparently a spy. We started running around the building where the concert was taking place. We shot at some people, drove around in some kind of spy mini-car. We met Dr. Evil (lol), took his weapon, but somehow figured out that he wasn't the mastermind and continued searching for the bad guys. It was fun. Now that's what I call interesting dreams! Not these cursed student days of yours! Ugh!

I had a dream that I was living in a Japanese house with anime girls. That’s it.

What a coincidence, I dreamed about one of the old factories.

I dreamt that I lived in a Japanese private house with anime girls. That's it.

So, how is life with 2D characters?

I dreamt that I was a member of some superhero team, like the X-Men. It wasn't clear why or how we ended up in front of a large building that was either a hotel or a resort, something like that. Everyone went inside, but I stayed outside for some reason. When none of my teammates returned, I suspected something was wrong and decided to check. I also had an overpowered superpower. I could copy the abilities of all the mutants I had ever encountered. I became invisible, flew up, and after flying through a wall, I went in search of my teammates. In the end, I didn't find them, but I found some bad guys who were discussing their kidnapping. Somewhere here the dream ends and a dream begins about me watching a YouTube video about a cat that puts kittens in its mouth (like hamsters do with their babies) and uses it to carry them.
