It's a shame that it doesn't work like that.

I managed to finish a disrupted adventure-themed dream once, but it was like this: I woke up, was upset that it was interrupted in the middle, immediately fell asleep again, and then saw the continuation.
After a day, it probably wouldn't have worked, of course, but right now it did.
