It's hard to say what exactly brought the two sorceresses together... fate... or two intelligent mushrooms?
I wonder how this encounter affected Jack's psyche, as he considered himself the only intelligent mushroom in the world...:D

Asuguh truly has a great ruler... All this inspiring speech can be summarized as follows: if the armies of the dead march through the burning streets of the capital, all the blame will fall on those who just stood by and watched. "Glory to the king! I voted for him! In the newspaper. Well, are you all happy? They couldn't find a decent thing to do for a whole year," Ushumgallu smiled contentedly, enjoying the feeling of confusion and fear among the gathered crowd. "Not bad chaos." He was about to further torment his companions with talk of the undead, but he caught the eye of the blonde standing next to Sir Kair. "She's already thinking about how you'll run off to Calcite and take her with you... Not bad, all in all." Or maybe not. Perhaps they just met somewhere before? "Who's here? Oh, it's you, what was your name... the one with the mushroom. I remembered. Personally, I'm not going to miss the fun in the citadel. And 'Thunderstorm' sounds like a good plan. Not to mention how happy I'll be to see the local head of the adventurers again; we're such buddies, I'd send him to the grave. I mean, we're buddies until the grave."

and weren't quicksand and sandstorms removed from the game as a mechanic? I remember something like that being mentioned.

Arriving in "Mazgard," Kamistella finds herself in the company of a woman well-known in the city.
- Young lady... have you ever been told that you have a hint of narcissism in your eyes?

Camistella glanced rather indifferently at the gray mouse. She was supposedly the best in the capital among authors of engaging news literature, but due to the lack of personal life connections, she didn't feel particularly confident about it. "Mm, no, but as one of my good acquaintances used to say... it's better to be a narcissist than to drown in an ocean of self-torment," Camistella smiled sweetly. "I presume you are Mrs. Mazzard?" She had a rather amusing name... something related to objects hanging upside down. Or a hangman... Ah, how diverse the world is, even in names!

- There's some truth to what your acquaintance said. For example, during a recent examination, I was told that I'm a psychopath, but my life hasn't gotten any worse because of that diagnosis. - "Gray Mouse" nodded. - Yes, Cherry Mazzard, that's me.

A psychopath... the diagnosis is the absence of deviations, but their presence is the norm. “Mm, nice to meet you. I’m Camistella Lane from Enlil, a member of the Guild of Wonders,” the lunar elf introduced herself. “I was sent by the organization. Are you aware of this?” I wonder, what could the Guild of Wonders possibly need a growth spell for in this wonderful realm of printing presses? How mysterious... The Guild of Wonders sometimes likes to avoid specific instructions.

Count Orlov
-- Who's here? Oh, it's you... the one with the mushroom. Got it.
Unlike Calcite, Erik immediately recognized the "unfriendly look" after a failed training session more than 9 months ago...

- Good day, Ushumgallu, Sheila, Illiman, and Gonor. I'm glad to see you again...

Perhaps, here, Camistella might have experienced great disappointment or indignation, but no... she already had plenty of work in the capital, and the simpler and faster the guild's task, the better. "Quite possible, but I must warn you that the corresponding spell has not been properly tested by me. The chance of side effects is never zero," Camistella nodded. "But it's good that you chose magic to change your appearance, rather than suspicious experimental developments by certain individuals." Remembering "Research Mania," the lunar elf frowned.

- We're chilling, relaxing, having a good time... We're taking a break! - Gennady concluded, grinning and pulling up the nearest chair.

- That's the right attitude, especially in such a gloomy time when there's only negativity all around. - The samurai glanced at the kunoichi. - Zumi, I see that you've become even more beautiful than before. It's a bit of a shame that your skills are unlikely to be useful against this enemy.
- ...
- Instead of hacking off the hydra's heads, we can stab it in the heart. Someone is definitely controlling these creatures, which means there's work for everyone. But is it for us? Did you see the mixed reaction to the Big Boss's speech? We might have other tasks. - Looking around, he leans in and says in a low voice. - Do you remember that joke about having a daytime and nighttime name? We should introduce ourselves properly, or come up with some nicknames to use in public. Someone might believe that we're just a group of people who love foreign culture, but there's bound to be someone paranoid.
My sword, my trusted ally, unphased by my aspect.

- Nonsense. - Sheila was clearly displeased with what she had heard. - The country needs a strong leader at a time like this, not philosophical discussions. - She didn't recognize Erik, but she pretended that she did. - Hello, hello, how are you?
- W-well, Sheila... what our lord said is correct... not everyone is suited for battles... - Feeling Erik's gaze on him, Illiman turned his shield in the opposite direction so that its front side would not be visible to her. - Ah, good day.
- Hmm... - Honor, in turn, was lost in his own thoughts. - Sir Kir, who is more important - the Protector or the commander of the Royal Guard?
- Technically, the Protector is a kind of mini-king, the ruler of one of the regions of the kingdom, so he is.
- I see. It's strange, then, that it looked different.
- The King rarely appears in public, so the commander is a kind of his personal herald.

- And what could happen? Loss of appetite, nausea? Pimples all over the body? Pregnancy?
