We welcome everyone who wants to help achieve a common goal: improve the quality of gameplay and contribute to the development of the HD Mod. You can do this right now and here. I. Registration, rules, and deadlines.

1. The tournament will be held using a Double Elimination system with a floating bracket (draw each round).
2. Tournament start date: October 1, 2014
3. Registration closes on September 28th at 9:00 PM Moscow time. Applications should be submitted in this thread. Registration is confirmed after transferring the tournament fee to the person responsible for the prize fund.
4. The tournament entry fee is $20 (37.5 rubles).
5. Each round lasts 3 weeks.
6. In the lower bracket of the tournament, there is a system for re-entering the tournament (once), which is possible until the final of the lower bracket. A player who loses a match in the losers' bracket can return to the tournament by paying a fee equal to N. (N = ($10 + Round Number * $5) / 2). For example, returning in the 3rd round of the losers' bracket will cost the player (10 + 3 * 5) / 2 = $12.5.
7. After submitting an application, you must transfer the tournament fee no later than September 27th to the person responsible for the prize fund.
8. Participation in the tournament or re-entry is only possible after payment has been made.
9. If a player is removed from the tournament for violating discipline, missing game deadlines, voluntarily withdrawing, or at the decision of the AC (Administration Committee), the tournament fee will not be refunded.

II. Rules and templates.

1. By default, games are played according to /topic/10593/. An exception to the rules: RedRush is allowed on XL+U templates.
2. By default, the game version is SoD 3.2 (4.0); WT (Warlords & Titans) can be used by mutual agreement.
SoD is played with the HWrulez patch (install it in settings). You can download it here: /topic/10609/. Except for the enabled option, other objects and level 2 monster building are not fixed.
3. The template for a round is determined randomly after the players choose their colors. The template changes after each restart of one of the players and is also determined randomly.
4. Colors are determined during the draw. Whoever is first in the pair plays red. Castle selection - standard pick.
5. Templates for the game:

000 = 2sm4d(3)
001 = Spider
011 = Mini Nostalgia
010 = 6LM10a
111 = 8MM6a
101 = 8xm12a
110 = diamond
100 = Jebus Cross

On all templates, by default, there is a chess timer; by mutual agreement, you can play with any timer.

For XL+U templates (8mm6a, 8xm12a, 6lm10a, Spider, Nostalgia) - 21m + 8m + 1m15s
For the Jebus Cross XL-U template - 24m + 8m30s + 1m30s
For Diamond, Mini-Nostalgia, Anarchy templates - 19m + 8m + 1m15s
For 2SM4d(3), balance, Panic templates - 16m + 6m30s + 1m

6. Templates are numbered in binary from 000 to 111 (i.e., a total of 8). Each time we create a game, we flip a coin three times. Let's say it comes up 100 – this corresponds, for example, to Jebus. We play Jebus. If there is a restart, then we flip the three coins again. It comes up 101 – this is, for example, 8xm12a. Every time the template is random.
7. The current list of templates will be known after the results of the vote among players are announced.
8. Restarts: A maximum of 3 days, or 113, or 112+111, or 111+111+111

III. Organizational issues.

1. The tournament is held according to the Rules for organizing, conducting, and participating in tournaments.

3. For each played match, participants must submit a report and confirmation.
4. Saves from all matches must be saved until the end of the tournament and submitted upon request by the tournament organizer or judge.
5. Please discuss controversial moments outside the forum. To resolve them, contact the organizer or judge via ICQ and provide save files, ICQ logs, and other necessary information.
6. Judicial decisions are made primarily based on the rules of the tournament. If the situation that arises is not regulated by the rules, then the judges will follow elementary logic and gaming ethics.
7. All games in the tournament count towards the seasonal rating. Reports and confirmations are written in this thread and will be copied into the "Reports of online games and their confirmations" thread. That is, you do not need to duplicate reports in the season ranking.
8. If you cannot connect with your opponent or they do not respond, please immediately notify the tournament organizer.

IV. Participants.

1. Experienced players from HW and other gaming resources are invited to participate in the tournament.
2. Beginners who have shown good results are allowed (applications will be considered individually).
3. Players who have just registered are not allowed in the tournament (exception - active players from other gaming resources; applications will be considered individually).
4. Players with a permanent ban are not allowed to participate in the tournament. If any player receives a permanent ban during the tournament, they will be disqualified, and their results will be annulled.
5. The organizers reserve the right to refuse participation in the tournament to a user without publicly explaining the reasons.

In the application for the tournament, you must indicate 5 templates that you do not want to play out of the listed 13, since there will be 8 templates participating in the randomization, as well as a convenient time to play.

V. Prizes.

The top 3 places will be awarded prizes in proportion:
1st place – 40% of the prize fund: 9200 rubles.
2nd place – 25% of the prize fund: 5700 rubles.
3rd place – 15% of the prize fund: 3500 rubles.
The winner of the tournament will receive an award under their avatar.
And we plan to donate 20% to support the development of the well-known HD Mod.
