Is it possible to get a postponement of a couple of days – I found out about the tournament (and the website too :)) today, and there are only two days left until the deadline. I might not make it.

Yes, it is possible, as an exception. However, the start of the next round will be announced on time. We will simply delay the announcement of the results of this round, which in any case, given the rental period, would not have been done quickly.

Task for round 3. The game will be played on the English version of TE 1.03f. The map is InmortalGuards. The starting save is the same as the one used in the Heroes League master tournament: http://forum.heroesleague.ru/viewtopic.php?t=1445&start=0. The only difference is the game duration! Thus, those who wish can play in both tournaments at once!!! The task is to assemble an army for a battle in the arena by day 40 (day 5 of the second week of the second month). The deadline for sending saves to the email address natasha@heroes.ru is 12 hours on February 13, 2006.

Today, a summary table has been added to the official results of the 1st tournament, listing all the parameters of the heroes and armies of the participants in the 2nd round, and the overall arena where all 5 heroes fought.

It's a pity. I expected the tournament level to be more diverse, and after the first rounds, there would be a division between those who would really compete for victory in the tournament and the rest, who would play among themselves in a consolation tournament (places in the lower half of the table). Unfortunately, in the first tournament, due to the small number of participants, this did not happen.
I don't know about the advice from professionals, but nevertheless, I will definitely write about how, in my opinion, the maps of the 1st tournament should have been played. The next round of the tournament is also the last one (at the suggestion of several participants, I decided to end the tournament with battles in groups of four without pairs), and it will take place on SoD.
And at the very beginning of March, we will start the 2nd tournament!

I'm also out; I won't be able to finish in time, even for the League tournament, but the army gathering deadline is unrealistic!
In the second round, everything was very simple and clear: you need to build Necropolises, hire Wamp Lords, and use them to defeat Behemoths, Dragons, Hydras, and others. The task is simplified because there were very strong artifacts with mediocre guards on your territory.
The wood problem is solved by hiring a Navigator, who, after painting the lighthouses, collects enough resources. The ore problem is not a problem at all; at the beginning, there is enough of it, and then, with one Red Dragon and the Death Ripple spell, the center of the map is easily cleared. I don't think it's a secret to anyone that the territory is native to the Dragon, and the hero simply flies there. Capturing the Compass is also simple: we go from two sides, the main hero with 30 Wamp Lords and the Navigator from the underground. The computer rushes at the Navigator, who runs away, and we easily take the unguarded Castle. This is done by the end of the second week, and in the third week, you need to collect the Legion Statue. Half of the collection is unguarded, and only one component has to be bought. We also collect the Horn of Plenty. Now, all that remains is to go around the territory and build chains to transfer troops to the main hero.

Well, if no one wants to play, then the tournament is over! The winner is nprf, and we congratulate him. The second tournament will start on March 2nd.
