Tower tactics.

Znich, Tower heavily relies on resources and having “good” (“powerful”) magic, as well as developing elemental magic skills for the hero – more so than other races. Also, it’s beneficial for them to have a stack of faster units in their army (at least one dragon). I wrote about this in the topic “The Speed Factor.” Well, and the Tactics skill is extremely useful for any race.
