It’s difficult to defeat Archdevils (neutrals) in a head-on attack.

Well, compared to dragons, they are much easier to defeat because:
1) Relatively low speed
2) Relatively low initiative
3) No magic resistance at all
But under the guidance of a skilled player, they can be quite effective, especially in terms of reinforcements from their lords.
