When you play Heroes frequently, the musical score becomes incredibly tiresome over time. When creating my own versions of Heroes 3.52 (The Succession Wars and Armageddon's Blade), I replaced all the music. In version 3, this is very easy: you go to the MP3 folder and insert the melody with the desired name. In Heroes 4, all the music from the cities, battles, campaigns, etc., is stored within the game itself. You can extract these melodies from the game using ResEditor; however, you cannot replace them with your own by "embedding" them into the game using ResEditor: ResEditor does not support the MP3 format, and when selecting the folder with the music, it does not recognize the necessary melodies.
