When you play Heroes frequently, the musical score becomes incredibly tiresome over time. When creating my own versions of Heroes 3.52 (The Succession Wars and Armageddon's Blade), I replaced all the music. In version 3, this is very easy: you go to the MP3 folder and insert the melody with the desired name. In Heroes 4, all the music from the cities, battles, campaigns, etc., is stored within the game itself. You can extract these melodies from the game using ResEditor; however, you cannot replace them with your own by "embedding" them into the game using ResEditor: ResEditor does not support the MP3 format, and when selecting the folder with the music, it does not recognize the necessary melodies. I have a licensed copy of Heroes of Might and Magic: Excalibur. Everything is great, and as far as I understand, it includes all the expansions, but there's one problem. In the "Armageddon's Blade" expansion, there are several buildings where you need to defeat a monster with a hero (I'm still not very familiar with them).
So, if you enter these buildings in the game, it crashes. It wouldn't be a big deal if the AI crashing when entering these buildings didn't cause the game to crash as well.
When installed separately, this expansion works perfectly.

So, if anyone knows where I can find a patch or can provide files that will help fix this problem, I would be grateful. If the file is large, I can extract it separately from the "Armageddon's Blade" expansion.
I just don't know what needs to be fixed and why this bug occurs.

I'm afraid I have to disappoint you, but Excalibur simply cannot be a licensed game! It's an unofficial add-on for Heroes 4! Therefore, the disc is also unofficial, meaning it's a pirated copy. There are only two official add-ons for Heroes 4: The Coming of the Storm and Armageddon's Blade! There is one unofficial one - Equilibris, or rather, it's not an add-on, but a mod! What is Excalibur? It's a collection of fan-made maps and campaigns. They may not have undergone testing, or the testing may have been inadequate. So, no one is responsible for the quality of pirated products. I advise you to purchase a licensed copy of the original Heroes 4 from Ubisoft! And its add-ons. Or buy the Holiday Edition, which includes Heroes 1-4 with all the add-ons! It costs about 400 (or more) rubles, but a license is worth it. You can also download and install the Equilibris mod, as I've heard (I don't know for sure), it works perfectly even on pirated copies! This might help you. Just launch the game through it.
