Magical expanses.

From my experience, on the same map, the computer can sometimes play well and sometimes play poorly; it just depends on luck.

I simply prohibit playing as races of cities that don't fit the terrain type at all. A city of Demons would look completely out of place in an environment of green fields with flowers.
