Thank you so much for the tactical information! I was right on the mark, leaving Markel's chests and Phoenix untouched for Sandro ). Markel did a great job overall; I upgraded his base correctly, taking the Herald through diplomacy and adding 2 stacks (devils and warmongers in the underground, turning them into his minions). He went to switch places with Sandro. I'm still hesitant to land on the islands with the Horde; they also have a cheaty Fort on the hill + dwellings. Luckily, they're just chasing around the sea and not attacking the Castle.

I noticed this... which is not good, but diplomacy + the Herald will help to mitigate this problem. Since on the second map, the number of creatures that can be taken for dark energy after a battle has clearly been manually reduced.
