I completely agree with Vadim. The Necropolis faction won't come to you. They only operate within their own territory. And also: collect composite artifacts, as they can be transferred later. You'll need them later. Mission 4 is the largest, with many islands. Therefore, mentoring is recommended so you can create a group of heroes with navigation skills.
