I completed the corrected first Campaign mission. It's a completely different experience now; it's actually playable. I'll play the second one and let you know.

I completed the second Campaign mission in three months, although I didn't play as the suggested Alaron, but as Ossir, the archer. I didn't notice any major issues; it's good that there's a mentor. And although the enemy is strong, the map seemed a bit boring to me; it lacks excitement. By the way, it would be good to give the archer a quiver as well. I started the third mission and was once again surprised by the author's preference for hero-walkers. What is this authorial quirk? And why is there this useless battle with Vlad right at the beginning of the game? Imagine how many times you have to replay to find the right hero in the tavern with open access to "Spell Mastery." Or is that not what the author intended (because for mages, this feature is crucial)? Well, never mind, I'll play it and let you know.

I'm playing the third Campaign mission and see that the experience coefficient for battles is reduced by a factor of two for some reason. What's going on? As for the hero, the best option is to have open access to "Spell Mastery," despite the presence of a mentor on the map. That's why I replayed the beginning about 50 times to buy Narhiz in the tavern (in my opinion, he would be a good hero). I'll play it and let you know.

I'm almost done with the third Campaign mission. Author, where is the mentor? I searched everywhere and couldn't find him; what kind of trick is this (it's a very unpleasant feeling of being deceived)? Also, the author seems to have forgotten about the sulfur mine in the lands of the mages, and without it, they have a very hard time. The joining Goshak with troops, of course, didn't hurt; the meat helped, but it would be much better to get native troops. I don't understand the author's attachment to the old version of Heroes; there's no third level of upgrade again. If in other cases this is not critical, then archmages attack their own, and fighting without cover is scary. I met the hero from the first mission, and what is he needed here for? Now my hero is stuck at the northeastern Necropolis Castle (3rd, last?), but I can't get through. There's no wall of fire, there's just no way. By the way, I still don't understand where to get phoenixes or something like that. I'm waiting for explanations on how to complete it.
There is definitely a mentor on the map! He is in the south of the map, in the undead lands. For Phoenixes, there is the Temple of Primordial Fire building. There is a production of 1 per week. It is in the east of the map (I will attach a screenshot showing it on the minimap). Alt-upgrades are not available for gameplay in this Campaign because the events take place before Heroes 5. And the 3rd Castle is the final one.
