Creating a custom campaign.

Our forum has seen many questions and answers regarding how to create a campaign. However, it has been very difficult to find them across more than 300 pages of the "Current Questions and Answers about the Map Editor" section. That's why I'm presenting you with a guide on creating campaigns in our game. It also includes an example xdb file for a campaign. Any suggestions for additions to the manual are welcome.
