It would be great to have a couple more new templates for this purpose, instead of just the 8x8 one – that would be awesome!

Voluntarily playing in an 8x8 Tournament is masochism, and forcing someone to play it in the Bo1 playoffs is sadism.

I also see a contradiction in the fact that there’s a group stage, supposedly so everyone can enjoy themselves, but only two players advance from each group, meaning after a couple of losses, there’s nothing left to play for. At least make it so four players advance, like in "Favorites," so motivation lasts longer.

In general, in my opinion, we shouldn’t try to shorten the schedule at the expense of quality. The Tournament is long anyway; it’s impossible to turn it into a blitz. An extra month or a month and a half or two because of Bo3 matches starting from the first round, even if there’s one more such round due to four players advancing from each group, won’t fundamentally change anything.
