On August 27, Ubisoft announced that it intends to release a remake of Heroes 3 by 2027 on its own.

Facts stated by the developers:

• the game will include 2 expansions: Armageddon's Blade and The Shadow of Death

• 9 factions

• the original campaigns will be available

• network play for up to 8 players, including hotseat

• a map editor will be available, and it will have the ability to import maps from the original Heroes

Currently, screenshots and videos are available showing what the gameplay will look like.
