Along with other beastmen, minotaurs — half human, half bull — were created by the mages of the Silver Cities as a replacement for orcs. But minotaurs craved freedom and thus fled to the eastern dungeons. Later they were conquered by dark elves and shackled once more, so that their slave labor could be used for the simplest and most tedious tasks. Despite such treatment, minotaurs are famous for their bravery and dignity. They will perform any task to the limit of their abilities, including fighting for those who enslaved them. Minotaurs hope that someday they will achieve freedom; dark elves fear that someday minotaurs will enslave them.
