You can buy a map there for 30,000 gold, and it shows the locations of the missing artifacts. By this point, you should already have 2, and you've likely defeated at least 2 strong blue armies. Then, just proceed.

Simple and quick to play. On your starting tile, clear out enemies, build structures, but don't upgrade units; clear out the entire guild and immediately head towards Zoltan, leveling up only in the closest battles along the shortest route. Summon your upgraded army at the second magic fountain, and the rest is easy.
If I had known beforehand, I would have completed it much faster, instead of in 64 days.

Yes, Remix is unique. Completing it without saving is something else! By the way, fans have created a remake of this scenario - Maahir's Gambit 2.0.

This is a reboot of the old Maahir's Gambit map. Added: AI, neutrals, strengthened garrisons, and reinforced passages on the map. A dragon island and a new city have been added. Astral gates and heroes have been removed. Each player gets 1 hero. All computers are allied against you. Good luck playing.
