I tried that, I put the pet in the dynasty menu, selected that hero, started multiplayer, but the pet was still inactive in the hero's menu. Maybe it's only for single-player.

Staff of Crystal Roses - 1st map for Necromancers (Shades of Darkness), reward for completing the quest - capturing the northeastern fortress (the quest name is not exact).
Edge of Balance - 1st map for Dark Elves, quest with minotaurs.
But I can't tell you about the Sword of Retribution and the Unnamed Staff. I think I got them on the 4th map of Inferno, maybe they are given for pre-ordering or for the complete version of the game, because I completed the campaign for the Elves and almost the entire campaign for the Necromancers, but I haven't encountered these weapons yet.
