Good afternoon everyone, I present to you an application for hosting the CIS Tournament 2017.

Now I will try to explain everything in detail, why the option of holding the CIS tournament in Korolev is so interesting.
a) The idea of the CIS tournament was conceived in such a way that every year the CIS tournament should be held in a new city. The CIS tournament has never been held in Korolev.
b) Convenient geographical location. You can get to the capital without transfers from almost anywhere in the CIS countries and Russia.
c) Abundance of entertainment venues.
d) Financially convenient option for most.

Let's start by presenting the place where we are preparing to host the upcoming event for you:
Bowling-hotel "Novye Gorki" is a modern three-star hotel in Korolev (Moscow region), offering its guests a high level of service, based on a well-developed infrastructure.
Quiet, fresh air, the small distance of Korolev from Moscow (7 km), attentive staff, all this is an ideal opportunity to combine relaxation and the CIS tournament in Korolev.


But let's talk about everything in order.
Let's start with the main thing - ACCOMMODATION:
The rooms are divided into several categories:
a) One-room "Standard"
Room for 1-2 people (total 34 rooms).
The room has a double bed (or two single beds), bedside tables, lamps, a table, a wardrobe, a luggage shelf, a flat-screen TV, a telephone, a refrigerator, air conditioning, carpet.
The shower room is combined with a bathroom, towels, guest amenities.
• Accommodation cost (per person) when ordering a room for 2 people:
10,200 for 7 days.



b) Two-room "Semi-suite"
Room for up to 4 people (total 12 rooms).
In one room: a double bed, bedside tables, wall sconces.
In the other room: a folding sofa, a table with a bedside table and a mirror, an armchair, a wardrobe, a luggage shelf, a telephone, a TV, a refrigerator.
The shower room is combined with a bathroom, towels, guest amenities.

Accommodation cost (per person) when ordering a room for 4 people:
7100 rubles for 7 days.





One-room "Suite"
Room for 2 people (total 3 rooms).
The room has a double bed (or two single beds), bedside tables, lamps, a table - bedside table, a coffee table with armchairs, a wardrobe, a luggage shelf, a flat-screen TV, a telephone, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a kettle, a hairdryer, carpet, a bathrobe, slippers, towels, guest amenities.
• The bathroom is combined with a bathroom.
• Photos of two different rooms.

Accommodation cost (per person):
14,300 (per person) when ordering a room for 2 people







If desired, the beds can be unfolded in all of the above rooms.

The second, no less important aspect is FOOD:

I would like to say right away that breakfast is already included in the room rate.

As for lunch and dinner:
You can refuse any of them if you wish. In the evening (it seems until 10:00 PM, I might be wrong), you need to indicate the number of people who refuse lunch/dinner for the next day, and indicate which menu the rest will order.

All the food looks great, the difference in price, for example, for dinner (750 rubles and 400 rubles) is in the complexity of preparing dishes and the cost of the ingredients themselves (750 rubles is, for example, "Salmon in cream sauce on the grill") and (chopped cutlet with a side dish for 400 rubles). The price does not affect the taste.

In my personal opinion, before I saw the restaurant, its staff, and the table setting with my own eyes, I thought that it would be a good, but "canteen", judging by the positive reviews on the Internet.

The cost of lunch and dinner (optional) per person per day is 800 rubles
Also, a banquet is planned upon arrival. The cost is 2500 rubles per person.

The third, most important thing that is included in the minimum package is the KZ.
It should be noted right away that the KZ is designed for 300 people. Special equipment is provided when renting the KZ + there is a WiFi signal enhancement in the immediate area of the KZ. Regarding the internet, during technical work at the time of our arrival, the WiFi network was available everywhere, except for the elevator. A test video call was made in the conference room to test the quality of the connection, and most importantly, the image (the amount of data requested by Skype during a video call is comparable to the average hero stream). There were no problems with sound/picture. Also, the internet speed was measured on each floor using speedtest. The speed was at the proper level everywhere.

It is also worth noting that the KZ has its own exit to the street (at least for smoking breaks), and its own exit to the service room to the kitchen, which means that the other guests of the hotel will not bother us in any way.

It is possible to book a second mini-karaoke hall for alcohol-poker.




The cost of renting one KZ: 2000 rubles per person for 7 days.
+ additional equipment in the conference hall - 1000 rubles per person for 7 days.

Total:
The minimum package for 7 days of accommodation, excluding lunch and dinner, taking into account the rental of a room for 4 people will be: 12,600 rubles/person.
The minimum package for 7 days of accommodation, excluding lunch and dinner, taking into account the rental of a room for 2 people will be: 15,700 rubles/person

Also, a 15% discount is provided on all additional services from the price list.

In total, a standard double room with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus the conference room fee, will cost 19k!

This is perfect for us.

And a comfortable room for four, including breakfast and hall rental for 8k.

1. I request that you name the organizers and specify who is responsible for what.

2. If there is only one conference hall, you want to reserve it for Heroes, but only for 10 hours a day (which shows a complete misunderstanding of what happens at the CIS event). Where will you accommodate those who want to do something else during this time? Poker, drinking, and other activities?
In my opinion, two halls are needed, located within walking distance of each other (one larger, one smaller) - these halls should be available 24/7.
The price for the conference hall does not include additional equipment (as I understand it, speakers, amplifier, microphones, projector, and screen - are you providing your own?).
I also don't see any information about internet access.

3. The dates are May 6-13. This is the decision of the absolute and undeniable majority. Why are you stating that you will be leaving on May 14?

4. If so, how do you plan to organize the meeting of participants and guests at airports and train stations?

5. I took the time to search the website of the mentioned establishment. And I already wrote about this.
"In the event of a microphone malfunction, the guest must pay a fine of 3,000 rubles (if there is no violation of the microphone's functional characteristics). In the event of damage to the microphone, the guest must pay a fine of 25,000 rubles."
I am not willing to use a microphone under these conditions (and, most likely, I won't). Because I read this as: if you damage the microphone, you have to pay a fine. If you do NOT damage the microphone, you still pay a fine.
And I suspect that the administration of the establishment will use exactly this logic regarding absolutely everything.

The four-person room has a specific layout – 2 double beds, which might not suit everyone. It's more of a way to save money for those traveling with a partner.

Alternatively, you can check in as a group of three, in which case the price will be 15,500 (including meals and access to the game room).

14k + 3k for train tickets from St. Petersburg is quite affordable...

Regarding the dates, you're right – leaving on the 14th is a Sunday, and the 15th is already a workday. In my opinion, it's better to leave on the 13th. This would give us 6 gaming days instead of 7, but 6 days should be more than enough, as there will be only 4-5 rounds.

A conference hall at 10 AM is quite a challenge for the host. Or, it's a good reason to mercilessly penalize those who like to sleep in after a lively night.

I'm trying to understand what kind of scenario the organizers envision. Because Moscow and the Moscow region are still relatively large areas. In Yekaterinburg, it's clear. There's plenty of people with cars to meet everyone, and that's one of the competitive advantages of Yekaterinburg's bid.

In Moscow, everyone can get there on their own using minibuses or taxis – what kind of meetings are you talking about? Meetings with gypsies and bears? The minimum package seems to be several times cheaper in Volgograd. The Volgograd standard costs 31,000 with breakfast. No discounts. Here, the price is significantly different, and it may be adjusted further to reduce the total cost. By the way, I just read that there is absolutely no mobile connection at the Volgograd facility, and the Wi-Fi is also poor; even if they provide a separate line, internet access will only be available in the lobby, and there will be no internet in the rooms.

It won't be a problem to meet in Yekaterinburg and Moscow, but it seems there will be difficulties in Volgograd. Alex can't be in two places at once.

In Volgograd, it's actually easier. Just order a taxi to the base and go there. This won't work in Moscow.
